There is actually SO much involved in the meaning behind this song. I'm not sure what source you used in the beginning, but they kinda did a disservice not delving deeper so that those who wouldn't get the nuances would be better prepared. I'll try to explain some of it. Many of the lyrics directly refer to previous songs of theirs that were/are heavly criticized as "just noise". Some have pointed out that the album this is on , NoEasy (Noisy), is a big F U to haters. -"Cawing of a crow" refers to their song Awkward Silence -"headache" refers to Side Effects -"A-class vibes", "crows and magpies", and "dudududu" refer to Gods Menu -Han being chased by a t-rex refers to Chronosaurus - Felix's verse "ugh, why'd you say it like that?" refers to criticism he received during their predebut survival show. He wasnt fluent in Korean, so how he phrased a very heartfelt question during a very upsetting time came out harsh, and he got a lot of hate because of it. -the sticky notes all have negative things that their haters have said about them. -the cheese Felix lists are all lactose intolerant friendly. Their way of saying that even if you might not like all of their music, there will inevitably be some you can and will like. -the "la la la la" chant is them mocking how haters sound and how SKZ filters their hate. I can definitely see why this song won't be for everyone, but hopefully with a bit more insight into the meaning behind it you can appreciate what they were trying to do a bit more. Agree. The first thought I had when hearing the description at the beginning was that it was so generic that it didn't even scratch the surface of the meaning behind this song - it was nothing like how I would have gone about describing the song. Appreciate the time you took to set it out for everyone. I think this particular song is best appreciated after knowing all the other songs that are referenced.

This is such a fun song on the surface but it also addresses the continual criticism of some people’s opinion about their lyricism, and also music production which they refer to as just Noise and this is them saying Get F…. We know we are good and more importantly the millions of Stays out there know we are good.

exactly! Whoever wrote the paragraph you read at the beginning really didn't get it. This is 100% a diss track, and one of my favorites b/c its so fun and satirical. It's the first song off NoEasy for a reason. that said, appreciate an honest opinion. just maybe find a better source for the background of the songs.

I appreciate the honest reaction. I feel this song is hard to understand for people who havent followed Stray Kids from the beginning. Their lyrics for this actually have a lot of double meaning. The lines about dudududu(God’s Menu), headache ( side effects) these are their songs which have a lot of haters. Plus the simple music video is due to the fact that this is a b-side track. Only title tracks like Thunderous have the big budget MVs.

So I was a bit confused by this song when I first heard it. I would skip it while driving in the car. After a while though, it started hitting just the right spot. I listened to it more and more, and soon it became one of my top three songs of theirs. Now I listen to it every day to help me feel happy if I'm down.

they made this song as goofy as it was to show how stupid the haters sounded lol. if you look at the lyrics, the whole song is sarcastic and satire. the whole noeasy (NOISY) album was a clapback to people saying they made noise music. they said "you want noise music? Just you wait" and made one of the best comeback albums in k-pop i think i've ever heard. multiple songs on the album are "noise music" and just to proove the haters wrong AGAIN, they paired it with the other half of the album, which are ballad/slow songs. I completely understand why you weren't feeling it btw. skz unique sound is not for everyone and thats okay. might I suggest YAYAYA or some of their older songs? i feel like you might vibe with them more.

Stray kids are huge in the music industry. They are top producers .They are the legendary group with the most diverse discography. Only groups in k-pop that are self made ( chan picked the members) and self produced group . Soft song - never ending, winter fall,4419, spread my wings, 24 to 25, OH, leventer, blue print, Ex, red light, hoodie season,for you , lonely st, silent cry,charmer, on track,time out, novel , there, the view your eyes, blue print, star lost etc. Brilliant song - venom, freeze, grrr, mirror, miroh, maze of memories, chronosaurus, 3racha side effect ,top, 3racha , slump,god's menu, thunderous, TA, cheese,muddy water, the sound, slump,top etc. Old gems - hellevator, district 9, my pace, awkward silence,19, road not taken,boxer, question,M.I.A,get cool,I am you , yayaya, grow up , stop, booster, astronaut, maze of memories,side effects, mixtape 1,2,3,4, entrance, hero's soup,my side etc Stray kids is know for quality of music and dedication for music.They are very creative and unique and versatile. Stray kids is inspiring to so many people. Their music is something connected with people .They give motivation, inspiration to express yourself it's ok to be unique You are beautiful the way you are. stray kids discography is very diverse with life philosophy. I describe stray kids music is "EXPRESSION OF LIFE" EXPRESSION OF PEOPLE" "EXPRESSION OF EMOTIONS" Lyrics are beautifully expressed with so many meanings . They have a diverse discography. I love the intellect, cleverness and creativity in songs. They have a very organic,fresh and unique sound. They didn't limited themself and explore the new side of music. You see so many new, refreshing and experimental sounds in their music. They explore different genres and express different emotions and touch so many important subjects like social pressure , anxiety, mental health, loneliness, depression insomnia etc. They break many stereotypes in music. The more you listen to them the more you admire and become addicted to them and respect them more as artists. I would also say that compared to their song this was definitely one of their goof songs they have songs like Rock, Question, and Boxer that are even goofier than Cheese in terms of lyrics and music videos but It also sometimes I like about Skz they show their fans a more fun and playful side of them

This is the song I listen to when I'm in a ticked off mood. There was real meaning in the song - they were referring back to critics about their songs. They were referring to some of their other songs, God's Menu, Side Effects, Freeze, etc., and the way people were putting their efforts down. Also, they did write the song-lyrics by 3Racha and composition by 3Racha and Versachoi (3Racha is their in-group production team: Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). Sorry you didn't like it, but I appreciate your honesty. For me this is a bit of a 'ragey' song, which is why I like it. It's not a title track, so no big $$ on the MV.

I know you guys said you didn't like it because of the repetitive lyrics and felt like it was simple. It sometimes really is a shame Korean can't directly translate to English. The word play in this song is really good. Honestly the word play in the majority of their songs is insane. The use both Korean and English words and meanings to play off each other.... So it's almost like... If you are not fluent in both languages, and understand both cultures idioms and other word games.... You don't get to fully understand or appreciate how complicated their music actually is... 😢

The "yeah yeah yeah" towards the end is kinda mocking the haters because it's like Stray Kids decided to make a diss track about haters and then halfway decided that they couldn't care less anymore. It's kinda funny when you think of it that way cause it shows how genius Stray Kids really are. Anyway, thanks for your honest reaction!

The honest reaction is appreciated really. This song was a B-side so it’s not the face of the album so it won’t get so much of the work done, and also for the mv most of the budget goes to the tittle mv so the b-side’s are more simple. I’m also glad yall gave your reasonings of not liking it cause most of the time people don’t give good reasons.

Like people said it that’s a stfu to the haters but their is something that I find really funny that they didn’t mention , when they list all the fingers of the hand you finish with a thumbs up but if you listen to the ad libs in the back they are saying another fingers and if you listen to it at the end you end up with a « f0ck you » ( Sorry I’m not fluent in English yet and I can’t write the things they say in Korean hope you understand 😅)

the real meaning of the song wasn’t like the one you read in the first video. it’s a satire and it’s deliberately goofy and annoying. but im too lazy to explain in detail. the first few lines of the song was about their previous songs that being mocked by the public. gosh sorry im too sleepy to type.. maybe later i will explain.

this song purpose is to clap back to their haters in the most unbothered annoying manner. hence the “ye ye ye ye” part. it’s a bside and it’s not created to be admired like their tittletrack. i mean.. these kids have tons of motives when creating musics. and it is always interesting when you know the deeper meaning/intention. ok im really sleepy.. thanks

Cheese is especially fun, because it's a direct clapback to people who have criticized their music. The lyrics actually reference several of their most criticized songs at the time, and are intentionally enunciating traits people dislike. Their basically saying it's okay if you don't like their music, because they like it for themselves. Edit: Also, Straykids music is almost entirely self made. They write, produce, and arrange like 98% of all their music.

Personally I dont mind the song, but the puns and word play is impressive to me. Cheese - as in «you’re a public figure, better grin and bear it». You guys should relate to that by having a public YT. If people come onto your page and hate, it is expected that you ignore it and keep on smiling in the next video no matter how hard it is.

Well, that's the point of God's Menu, there is a lot in the Menu, you don't need to like everything but they will always have something that serves your taste. Yea.. no worries, I don't really like it either. And I like 90% of their discography. But you should know that the song is actually very well thought out. They are throwing a lot of shade in a very subtle way. Have you checked out their japanese releases like The Sound, Circus or Battle Ground?
