Marzahn is better than its reputation. Also, Kreuzberg is fine historically interesting.. But it's became expensive. The last part with diversity and decent prices is Wedding which is changing also..

kreuzberg used to be a safehaven for immigrants all over berlin who didnt really have a place to call their own, it was immigrants from every nation peacefully living together celebrating german multicultural unity, now its a gentrified area full with white rich kids who never paid a dime of rent in their lifes, sure its still multicultural and loving and fun but its becoming more and more expensive by the minute and people thinking that its so ~hip~ dont realise how expensive its getting for longterm residents rent has skyrocketed from 200€ for a 30qm flat to 900€ for the same flat, imagine living in a place your entire life and seeing it becoming more unaffordable

german people should be harder on their government, especially when it comes to so called left-wing/centre-left parties who people vote for because they think they are an actual alternative to right wing/centre right-parties, when in fact their politics on economy (hartz iv, de-regulating/privaticizing ect.) are pretty much the same while the parties (you have to exclude die linke and the afd here, i don't support them but they have at least politics that are different from the rest) pretend to be very different from each other and it really matters a lot if you vote for spd, union, fdp or die grüne even though it really doesn't outside of maybe immigration politics (and even here, the differences aren't as big as they might seem, obviously also due to coalitions).

@@susannabonke8552 My comment was quite sarcastic but anyway i don't want germans to tear down half of their country. They should collect the history of their country and understand every piece of it as if they were Lego pieces. Those blocks of different colours are the living history of Germany. Must be preserved and ennobled. And yes, even the DDR and Nazi era architectures.

For me, the old Berlin should be restored, that beautiful GERMAN imperial city should be restored. Hundreds of years of history were destroyed and weren't restored 'til this day...
