In your ED review video, I think I saw you getting onto the 15 in san diego? If you are local to san diego, you should start coming out to the Cars and Coffee meets! I am usually 1 of 2 abarths that show up (slwpnda) being the other. It would be nice to get a group going more often, especially since we all have ED Flash tunes/ Pops and bangs!!

bryon 500 Ya man I'm down, I haven't been going to many meets cus tbh I'm so sick of the look of my car😂 I need wheels and some other goodies but I've been trying to get this thing dialed performance wise. There's an Abarth-mini Cooper meet in April someone just hmu about yesterday that I'll be going to. And I may or may not test out the launch control at racelegal this friday🙊(if it doesn't rain)

I totally get what you mean with the looks, I still need to get rid of my wheel gap and get some new 17 inch wheels as well. I went for performance before the exterior mods also, just missing an FMIC now. I might head out to race legal on friday, I work 5 minutes away. I should be the only white abarth with gold wheels in the area so you know its me LOL

bryon 500 Ya there's a meet before then a cruise to race legal itself. But ya man my stock wheels are sooooo beat up and ugly, I'm not ready to show it off I just like gapping people😂🤘🤘 but ya fmic is for sure theories my car responded really well to that mod, same with the new intake its soo much better than the other options (requires fmic though) and coilovers are theories too, although the back starts to ride like shit when you lower it to have no wheels gap at all

wow thats awesome, makes me want to get the E+D unit. How does this work, you buy the regular E+D flash, then you buy their phase 2 add on. But how do you go back and forth between the cracks and bang and regular phase 2? Say I want to daily on phase 2 but for track day I want phase 2 with cracks and bang? Is it a reflash or something simpler? Thanks

DropTheCent Ya you have to buy the flash (which is pretty expensive) and then the buy the add on ($50) for launch control and pops and bangs. You then send them a tune request form, so you pick which map (or maps) you want to have LC and pops and bangs. You can choose 1, both or neither. Then they send you the tune and you flash it onto your ecu

So, knowing all you do now. Where would you start? I have a DD 2013 Abarth. I want more power, etc. Should the first thing i do is get a tune? what about FMIC, or CAI, or Coil packs?

Francisco Contreras I would do coil packs/plugs and CAI first, and then fmic then tune. But if you live somewhere where you can use the ATM front fenderwell intake then I would 100% do fmic before cai so you can run that intake, coldest on the market hands down

Yes they are each an add on, I think 50 bucks for each one. BUT I would recommend getting a obdII self tuning cable and taking it to a local tuner who can strap the car on the dyno and give you a real tune

unfortunately no. pops and bangs on both maps or no pops and bangs at all. There's also a burbles/crackles add on map that is less aggressive than pops/bangs map if you are worried about noise levels.

hey man, i have to ask--i just got the eurodrive with phase 1..i have FMIC, v2.1 CAI, 4c coil pack...im not sure why but this tune feels just as fast as stock, but with different power delivery...no joke the phase 0 seemed slower than stock :( is it just me? i even had a professional abarth racer try it and after he was telling me eurodrive is basically bullshit after trying it...he literally had no motive to lie to me..im starting to feel like only a TUV approved chip is the best option now :/ ...racechip, chipbox, etc...all TUV which means consistent for everyone..im watching your video with phase 2 and the way the power is delivered seems very similar, but idk this phase 1 tune with my mods feels like i just wasted 250 bucks because i couldve gone with a TUV approved one...any input on this? maybe i just need to flash my car to stock, time it in sports mode, then go back to phase 1 and compare the times...fuck.

ya so since that video a lot has changed in the abarth community. For me i was running a piggyback and my car was having all sorts of issues, once i got tuned by EC it fixed everything and the car was ripping. But then i started to realize it was all mid range and the top end felt like nothing. I tried to get in contact with EC to maybe adjust the tune and fix the issue but they never got back to me on that, or for big turbo support so personally im done with the EC tune as im halfway through a entire turbo system swap with a 60/64 AR turbo that they wont support. I would suggest buying the self tuning cable and then taking it to a local tuner you trust and have him dyno and tune the car to get it right. You dont have to go with EC/madness/tork, You can get the car tuned local to you and skip their off the shelf stuff
