The young seagull was afraid to fly because of his fear of falling, and his wings not supporting him overpowered him .2. his parents were coaxing his to fly because one day he has to fly in order to get food and to survive .3. the young seagull pretend to sleep because he thought that someone would notice his pitiful condition and will come to him with food. 4.He observed that no one was paying attention to him and were having fun without him. 5.his mother came near to him with a piece of fish in her beak he was hungry so the sight of food maddened him and so he moved further to grab it but his mother halted and so he fell. 6.his mother helped him indirectly by trying to give him food but also to teach him to fly. 7. When the seagull was falling down, after a few moments he realized that he was flying , the fear inside of him vanished in a second , he flapped his wings and flew fearlessly with confidence along with his family.

They wanted him to be independent, and so, they forced and coaxed him to learn flying. 3) The young seagull pretended to sleep, thinking that someone would take notice of him sleeping and would offer him food. 4) While sleeping, the seagull observed that his family's behavior was quite peculiar. No one noticed him. Everyone were doing their own work. His brothers and sisters were enjoying their flight while his father was cleaning his white feathers. It was only his mother who was looking at him, having a very happening plan in her mind.

In this way, the young seagull fall off the ledge. 6. Yes, his mother helped him by offering him food that created a sense of madness inside him because he was hungry from the last twenty - four hours. 7.His mother was looking at him. She was standing on a little high jump on the plateau, her white breast thrust forward. Now and again, she tore at a piece of fish that lay at her feet and then scrapped each side of her beak on the rock. The sight of the food maddened him. How he loved to tear food that way, scrapping his beak now and again to whet it. "Ga, ga, ga, " he cried begging her to bring some food. "Gaw-col-ah", she screamed back derisively. But he kept calling plaintively, and after a minute or so he uttered a joyful scream. His mother had picked up a piece of the fish and was flying across to him with it. He leaned out eagerly, tapping the rock with his feet, trying to get nearer to her as she flew across. But when she was just opposite to him, she halted, her wings motionless, the piece of fish in her beak almost within the reach of his beak. He waited a moment in surprise, wondering why she did not come nearer, and then maddened by hunger, he dived at the fish. With a loud scream he fell outwards and downwards into space. Then a monstrous terror seized him and his heart stood still. He could hear nothing. But it only lasted a minute. The next moment he felt his wings spread outwards. He could feel the tips of his wings cutting through the air. He was not falling headlong now. He was soaring gradually downwards and outwards. He was no longer afraid. He just felt a bit dizzy. In this way, the seagull overcomed his fear and managed to fly. His brothers and sister already had their hearty breakfast and was lying on the plateau .his father was preening his back feathers and the only one noticed him was his mother. 5) young seagull was very hungry as he hadn't eaten anything for the last 24 hrs. His hunger intensified when he saw his mother tearing a piece of fish that was lying in her feet. The young seagull begged at his mother to bring him some food . His mother intentionally took the piece of fish and flew towards him. He was very happy and screamed with joy at that sight. But suddenly his mother stopped in the midway . He was very confused why his mother is not coming nearer but he couldn't resist his hunger no more and dived into his mother's beak. Suddenly he starts to fall down . At that time a great terror siezed him and his heart stood still. But it was only for a minute, the next moment itself as a natural reaction of his body he starts to flap his wings. He could feel the flow of air through his entire body, he could sense the tip of his wings cutting through the air. He starts to up and down in the air and successfully attempted his first flight. 6)his mother helped and supported him to fly by beckoning and moving around him and also indirectly helped him to fly by intensifying his hunger. 7) the young seagull was very afraid to fly and even after several attempts he failed to make his first flight. When his parents left him alone in the ledge without giving any food, he felt so tired and hungry. And maddened by hunger the young seagull dived into his mother's beak to get that food ,at that time his hunger overcomed his fear of flight and he successfully made his first flight.
