@ The anti motoring lobby CANS (Communities Against Noise & Speed) were determined to do something - an extract from their 2018 document : We are Communities Against Noise and Speed (CANS). A campaign organisation representing the communities living along the A32 and the A272 in Hampshire. Our objective is to stop the noise produced by the illegal modification and racing of motorbikes on the roads of the Meon Valley and the A272 in Mid and East Hampshire. Ironically by far the loudest vehicle travelling along the local roads is a Mercedes E63 with a full race system, he drives around with impunity at the dead of night at full tilt but suspect everybody believes they’re hearing a motorbike…….

I had a 1991 TDR 250 which was basically the same engine as the TZR, so hearing this sound again, brought back all the feels of yesteryear :) I am now the proud owner of an MT10 (gen1), however my heart firmly lies in the 2 stroke experience. Loved the awkward sound of the hunting at mid revs, these bikes don't like living there at all. It's when you get into the upper realms of the revs, when 2 strokes get to clear their throats and simply......piss off! Cool vid

I've noticed in the past your tzr being hard to start. Maybe the power valves? I remember you setting the power valves to be open below 600 rpm (or whatever it was) like the stock cdi. I tried this with my 1kt and had the same problems with starting as you seem to have. The power valves started to turn before the bike fired (unlike stock cdi) and it didn't want to start like that. As soon as i set the power valves to stay closed at start it started every kick no problem. I think the Zeel doesn't do a great job at keeping the valves open until the bike actually fires. Try setting the valves fully closed at start to keep them from rotating while starting and see if that helps the starting. Those are some pretty bikes you have in the UK! Lots to look at.
@mototoki2 күн бұрын
Good advice. Thanks. I have the second PV map to closed at start, I’ll try that and see how that affects it. My kicks started off at high rpm but by the end I reckon I was down 50% in leg power!!!!
@pietervanbreda43602 күн бұрын
