if u put a smaller rear sprocket on ur 4 stroke, u might want to consider getting a smaller front pedal crank sprocket to make pedal starting easier because the motor will have a harder time getting up to speed with that smaller rear sprocket. having gears in the rear for peddling to get to speed is almost essential for 4 strokes ESPECIALLY with a smaller rear sprocket. my 44T gets me to around 50kph but the 40T i got gets around 55kph in ideal conditions. it has noticeably slower acceleration with the 40T compared to the 44T so any lower and u prolly need gears, the front pedal sprocket being smaller prolly wont help much for a 36T rear sprocket.

Thank you for the very informative video. As not only is this a hobby for me but it is becoming my main form of transportation. Mainly because I'll never be able to own a vehicle or have a license again. So I have been debating the four-stroke thing. With that being said you're very informative video has closed a lot of questions that I had. Now I can say that I pretty much want both of them. A 4-stroke is reliable daily Cruiser, and a two-stroke for fun, more power, top end speed, of course that 2-stroke Power Band, as you stated all the modifications that can be done to the 2-strokers etc. So you're right whether you want a 4-stroke or 2-stroke would completely depend on what your situation is and what you need it for. In my situation I'll need both. Right now I'm working with the 66/80 CC 2 Stroker. But now I know it's worth my while to throw in the money and build a 4-stroke as well. To have that reliable daily driver. As well I think the four-stroke might be a better choice for the winter time. Which would be difficult anyway regardless of what you're driving for a bike, even if it's a Harley, Honda, etc. So obviously in the winter having a slightly lower cruising speed is going to be a safety thing as opposed to an annoyance. Something that'll probably fire up better in the freezing cold as well as allow me to modify things like the tires and stuff to make them like winter tires on a car. Because the last thing I want to be doing in the middle of winter is tinkering on a two-stroke trying to keep it going. The 2-stroke will be my summer fun I'll build a 4-stroke for the winter and just general cruising bike. With that being said though I don't think I'll buy the kit 4-stroke motor. What I'll probably do just buy all the parts for the kit so I have the throttle excetera. And I think I might use a 210 cc snowblower engine. Or maybe it's a snowmobile engine, either way it's a smaller engine with much higher CC. And talking to a person with experience of building these he says it is perfectly possible. So a 210cc 4-stroke or on a bicycle I Can Only Imagine. There is a reliability and all your horsepower. Couple that with a centrifugal force transmission, and you will have a very reliable and fast bike that's a 4-stroke. Obviously this is a project that will take me some time but I will make sure I document it. so if it does work out, people will be able to learn from it.

What is the speed of one of these 4-stroke engines? Additionally, do you need a sturdy bike frame to support the heavier engine? I've often read that 2-stroke engine kits are unreliable. Many people say that almost none of the engines available for 2 stroke bike conversions are any good.

I cracked the frame on my bike with the 2 stroke motor. I think its not a good idea to use an aluminum frame bike. Most bikes are aluminum frame now days. Steel frame should be able to take repeated vibration a lot better tho. I dont like the 4 stroke fitment, weight and complexities of valves tho. The 2 stroke seems to be a much suited purpose built package not to mention the manual clutch is way better than the centerfugal clutch on the 4 stroke. Centefugal clutches kinda suck in my opinion especially when it comes to lugging up a hill at lower speeds. More likely to slip as the centerfugal forces are weak since low rpm but load is high due to less inertia and incline. Manual clutch is way better. I wouldnt mind one of both. Im currently looking for a steel frame bike to rebuild my motorbike

Also the different "stages" bikeberry offers are snake oil. It's all the same wngine just with different decorations that add no actual performance. The ashtray style "high compression head" is total garabage and just over heats as well. The " expansion chambers" are anything but actual tuned exhaust and do nothing that drilling holes in a stoke exhaust wont accomplish. Just get the stage 1 and order a decent head for cooling and get a real exhaust pipe like an MZ and a real performance carb like a vm20 from somewhere else
