You don't really eat cakes that go through these types of processes- All the handling and pouring of water or whatever that was on it- they are for decoration to me. Artwork not food😂. Great job/ Blessed hands

Simple syrup, Kees cakes moist so when your decorating for long periods of time it won’t dry out. Also sometimes used to add flavor.
