Andre might be the most underrated guitarist and happens to be one of my top five favorites. What a master player with a powerful unique Brazilian flavor and I love his use, which is so musically natural, of the Lydian flat 7 scale. He uses t like a blues player uses the blues scale he is simply fantastic.

Comes a lot from brazilian northeastern folk music! It’s a big sound in the genres that come from that area. Check out Baião, you might like it

I agree. Criminally underrated. The first video I watched of his I immediately thought "there's no way that's real" and immediately started watching everything I could find on Andre and it turned out that he was even better than I imagined.
