My golden knew I was pregnant, he also knew one of my friends was pregnant. I had pre-eclampsia with my first, and had high blood pressure issues a while after he was born, and my dog would come sit by me when he knew my blood pressure was getting high. Dogs are amazing. The fun thing was, with the first baby, he was so excited, with the second (mine are 18 mo apart) he sniffed my belly, and sat and looked at me with this exhausted look in his eyes.

Everytime both dogs would just stare at my belly everytime I sat down, and wouldn't leave me alone.....super sweet how attentive they both have been...I believe they can hear baby's heart beats in there

Haha first off, 5:00 made me laugh cause I did notice right away. This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched and really enjoyed your sense of humor and attention to detail. Do you happen to be a perfectionist? Cause you seem really relatable to me. Incredible how you have Buddy and how sweet and informative and smart he is. My first pregnancy also ended in a miscarriage so I feel kinship with you there as well. Still trying three months later for a successful pregnancy. Currently in that 2-week wait. I kept pulling up my calendar to reference to as you were going through yours. I wanted to wait until the day after my (hopefully) missed period since in previous months I had been that person testing early and almost every day to just get my period as expected. But after watching your video, maybe I’ll test just two days before my expected period and see if it’s a positive. Going to go check out your channel now!
@MommingwithMigraine11 ай бұрын
lololol YES a *little* perfectionist but thankfully not anxiously so. More so attentive to detail, and I delight when things are tidy, so things end up looking neat. I am great at patterns and really enjoy them, so the back end of video-making is super made for me. 2023 was weird on my channel because of my medical stuff, but I'm coming back sort of normally this year (hopefully starting this week!). Happy to have you here! I am so glad you lined yourself up day-by-day, that's totally what I bothered with the calendar for, even though it made the filming more tricky. Best of luck on your TTC journey - keep me posted!!! I do tend to peek at comments. 2 days is early for a positive but can TOTALLY HAPPEN.

That bump though! Super cool Buddy alerted you to the change in your body from conceiving. Fingers crossed your migraines improve. Mine did for both of my pregnancies. I still had an annoying, almost constant pressure headache w/the 2nd pregnancy, but I could at least function. I live in the PNW where allergies run rampant, which is what I chalked the pressure headache up to. I'm curious to see how your POTS symptoms are during pregnancy. I watched a few pregnancy vlogs while pregnant, but none of the women had POTS like me. I'm also looking forward to seeing how Buddy feels about everything as you continue to grow. He's adorable and looks like he's always smiling!
@MommingwithMigraine4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to tell me about yourself! Did you have POTS yet when you were pregnant, or did your POTS come later? I thought Bud's attention was pretty amazing too, and I just LOVE when he interacts with the baby!! He does smile all the time, he's such a joy in our lives. I'm having the pressure headaches too now, and you've got me wondering whether it's the pregnancy or allergies (it's my first spring living in a new area).
@chelseasforstitchsake68554 жыл бұрын
@@MommingwithMigraine I hadn't been dx'd yet with POTS when I was pregnant, but had symptoms/flares since I was a child. It wasn't until after my 2nd pregnancy in my late 20s that my body took a real nosedive and I went on my hunt for answers. I learned about EDS and its comorbidities such as POTS and MCAS and it was like a lightbulb appeared over my head. So many weird signs/symptoms I've had growing up that I just thought was "normal" finally made sense. Now I'm on the hunt to find a doctor who understands everything and is willing to help treat my symptoms. I've been thinking about IV saline because water and increasing my sodium intake doesn't seem to be enough.

One of my dogs, I have always said is a natural service dog. He’s very in tune with me. I have yet to find out why to this day - but I do have low blood pressure and faint from time to time. Even when I’m sick he is right there. He will try to nudge me if I faint and lick me like crazy. And even try to alert my husband somethings wrong. He really never leaves my side. That being said, he seems very in tune with hormone changes as well. So maybe, your dog senses that too. As your hormones change maybe your doggy reads that as something to alert

I had no migraines during pregnancies or breastfeeding. I had 4 children in the span of 5.5years. My first conception was July 1st 1995, and last delivery was November 26, 2000. The last day that I breastfed was Sept 11, 2011 as we were travelling across Canada from Ontario to Newfoundland, with all the driving, my baby didn't want to nurse anymore, but she was also 10 months old and well accustomed to food and bottles, so I was not too upset with her not wanting to nurse anymore. She was only nursing at naps, bedtime and mornings then anyways, which was getting disturbed from the long driving for 4 days. But now that I'm 44, and I had a hysterectomy in October 2003, I'm finding that for the last 3 years my migraines have gotten much worse. I think it's premenopausal hormonal triggered. Spoken to my doctor yesterday about it, and with my family history of breast cancer, and my maternal grandmother JUST had breast cancer that was hormonal cancer, he strongly advised against ANY hormone therapy for migraines :( Now to try and figure out some other avenue of treatments. I have taken myself off of body damaging pain meds, and practicing more natural remedies, but it doesn't completely help with all the symptoms and pain.

5:50 I don't know if you know, but expensive tests isn't more accurate than cheaper tests. For example, Clearblue's are around 8x more expensive than the cheapest but, when you open it, you see that it's just the same test, with an electronic device to read the stripes. And I think that we all know recognise if there's one stripe or two. It's a waste of electronic materials and money, an environmental aberration and... a marketing success (because they achieve selling a lot of useless things). I think that the only reason you may chose to buy a more expensive test is if it's produced in your country, explaining why it's not as cheap as the one produced in China (or other countries like that), and so you'll help your country's economy. But please, don't buy these useless stuff, with battery and so rare materials, used for 5 minutes, just to read stripes...

I know it’s been a long time but I got a question so I got a positive on 7DPO a very very faint line and I took one later that night same thing but the next morning it’s been negative but I’ve been having all the symptoms that I usually do not get when my period comes. Should I just wait a little longer because I got that positive that means I could be pregnant right
