Two Weeks after Mastectomy - Pain, Prosthetics and Body Positivity

Thank you for your videos. I am 4 days post double mastectomy. When I mentioned to my surgeon that I had chosen to go Flat and definitely not have any more surgeries,,,Her reply was,,,”it is a fad”. I was devastated and she seemed to now become rushed, and when I asked to see photos was told to look on Google. The day of the surgery she asked if I was still sure of my decision and I adamantly said yes. i am not sure what my new chest looks like yet,,still have the pumps and drains and dressings in.i liked my surgeon but feel that letting women know all the choices is so important. going flat was not really an option given,,,and not one too well received. I hope it has ended up well!

I'm sorry that your surgeon wasn't a fan. They seem to take it so personally, some of them. Ugh. Yes, my story has ended well. I have lots more videos if you want to see!

I am 73 years . I live in India . I recently diagonised as a labular carcinoma of the breast spred to my bones . In India the Insurance dont pay and i am on targetted therophy . Palbocilib 125 mg and Litrosol 2.5mg. Plus i have to take Denusumab . Is there any organasitation help me financially
