Three things are going on here. First my queen is two years old now and still doing a great job. I have a drone bee with deformed wings. It is something I have seen before but in a worker two years ago. My boss asked me to look for varroa mites because they can cause this. It is known as deformed wing virus. Other things can cause this, but varroa is the leading cause. No signs of mites, so it is most likely from of the other causes. And last, you can see the two different larvae stages in their cells. The smaller larvae are in their first stage, and the larger larvae are in the second stage. The first stage ones are most likely still being fed royal jelly and the second stage have been moved to the bee bread.
