Today I'm doing a much awaited (or not) update to my medical grade skincare routine- both morning and night. I have been using ZO skin health for the last two years, and i'm going to be reviewing how my routine has changed, how my skin has changed, and whether or not medical grade skincare is worth the extra money. You shouldn't be using so much exfoliator, a skin care routine should really only be about 5 products and then an spf50. I'd recommend adding in a vit c serum to help with the inflammation. Also when applying eye products, you want to be dabbing with your ring finger not dragging the skin, it's a very sensitive area.

I know a lot of people don’t like a shine but I think it’s beautiful. You have a beautiful glow since your first video! Is there a certain ZO product that you feel like contributes to that pretty sheen the most?

According to Caroline Hirons the line "medical grade" means nothing. It's industry fluff talk. The Zo skin products can easily be purchased by anyone without prescription.

Girl, you got me cringing with the way that you are just scrubbing and pulling on your skin with that face cloth! Always Pat your skin dry never pull especially the gentle skin on the under eyes! Just a tip! Will save your skin in the long run :) beautiful skin!

Great video! I recently bought my daughter the acne kit and her face is bright red!!! She's only 3 days in! Do I tell her to power thru it and it will get better or maybe cut way back on using one of the products?

I can't imagine what it'd be like if I used exfoliating cleanser (am pm) - exfoliating polish (am pm) - renewal pads (am pm), considering that these 3 are exfoliant products. I'd love to use but, I just don't want my skin sensitive.

They would recommend you use the cleaner and the renewal pads for am and on and the exfoliating polish only am or pm. And use it once a week to begin with until the skin is used to the product

Medical grade has no claims and it is exactly the same and regular skin care. It’s a way to get patients to buy from a derm clinic. There is no evidence of medical grade being any different. Derm here! 😁

Hallelujah .. I just made the same comment. I'm forever being told "Zo is medical grade, it's prescription strength" yet you don't need a prescription to buy it. And Caroline Hirons also says it's all industry speak to make people think they are buying something superior.

I think you need more sunscreen..? Considering how much you’re shelling out for these products, protect your investment with more sunscreen. Quarter teaspoon for face and neck. That’s is 1 line of sunscreen on two fingers. Thanks for sharing your journey!

My favorite was the polish and the cleanser!! That cleanser lasts forever lolz!! I love showing off my skin now especially how it improved my hyperpigmentation ❤️

Over the counter products are diluted. Renewal pads are great but contain alcohol. In love with the wrinkle and texture cream. Everything else has too many silicones for me.

They also want you to layer too many products that I don’t think are necessary.

ZO is great, but cringing at the makeup cloth. Most skin care professionals will tell you not to use cloths or wipes on your skin. It can push the gunk further into your pores and it pulls at the skin, which damages elasticity. You should be washing with a gentle cleanser to remove makeup.

This is my regimen for my Melasma and was prescribed by my doctor, who works with Dr. Obagi here in CA 😀 ZO Morning routine: 1. Gentle Cleanser mixed with a pea size Exfoliating Polish. 2. Calming Toner. 3. 1 pump of Pigment Control 4. 1 pump of Exfoliation Accelerator 5. Daily Power Defense 6. Eye Brightening Creme 7. Last Step - ZO Daily Sheer SPF 50 Sunscreen Evening Routine: 1. Gentle Cleanser 2. Complexion Renewal Pad - this is your Toner (Do not cut the pad in half) 3. 1 pump of Pigment Control 4. Last Step - 1 pump of Pigment Control + Blending Creme mixed with equal parts of Tretinoin. You will experience redness, sensitivity, and peeling. Please remember that everyone's skin is different, so your regimen will differ from mine. Please see a licensed medical provider to determine which ZO skincare routine works best.

I have been using ZO’s anti-aging program /kit for 2 months now…. I am afraid to try their retinol because I heard it’s very potent. I, however, wanted to step up my regimen so I decided to purchase their Brightalive 10 minutes ago…Not sure in which order it should be applied though… Your kind assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've been using the retinol and was warned I would have skin peeling. No such thing has happened. I even jumped ahead from once a week to every other day. Still no skin peeling.
