Now this is what riding motorcycles is all about. Riding with friends and meeting new ones. How awesome of Dusty to be so accommodating. Look forward to the rest of the series.

Dusty was such a great addition to the group! Also would love to thank Dusty’s wife for allowing us to barge in and take over her home and steal her hubby. I hope to see them both in Florida! Remmy, you are my favorite videographer! Much love to you brother!

Its a know issue, that close proximity to certain power lines will interfere with the fob communicating with the bike. Could have been an underground power line at the hotel. The solution, is to push the bike 40 or 60 or 80 feet away from the problem area, until the bike recognizes the fob. That’s why his bike started fine until he drove into the “Bermuda Triangle” of electromagnetic interference.

Yep, I had exactly the same issue in the centre of Melbourne Australia, on my 09 Ultra Classic before I saw the light! LOL. I rang my trusty wrench, and was told exactly the same thing. Sure enough 80-100' later, it started no worries.

Very nice start ! No one predicted this would be the wettest Sturgis on record, but you got there ! Having rode twice from Ohio/Kentucky is that (for our location) 3 days to cover 1200 or so miles was perfect. 350 - 400 miles a days was doable & was easy riding. Coming back, we did it in 2 days & it almost killed us all. I know 600+ mile days are nothing to some folks, but to me, that's work & there is no time/inclination to look at anything except the road in front of you. Anyway, enjoyed the video & and am looking forward to the next one . I'll keep watching

I had the power issue on my 2015 Road Glide Special this past weekend. First time. It was asking me for my "PIN" # - to which I replied..."Huh?" FOB battery #2032 needed to be replaced (that was it), but I also took 2 hours to figure out and reset the PIN. If you ever lose your FOB, or it dies, you can start the Harley with a PIN # and override the security system. Looked like an awesome ride!

Every few weeks I practice the 5- digit pin code to start my Limited just in case of a dead key fob. You never know ! you need a better rain suit. you look like the Michelin Tire man at speed.😁

This was great, so so jealous. That rain storm holy cow batman. As for the non start Harley's, don't they have a pin code for backup like ours? If only they had brought an indian pmsl.. looking forward to the next episode mate.
@TwoIndians
@TwoIndians Жыл бұрын
Even the PIN codes weren’t working. It was so bizarre. We had to push all the bikes away from the hotel, then separate by 50-60 feet (that’s 20-30 meters for the weirdos outside the US LOL) and wait for the bikes to reset or whatever. I figured it was some sort of EMI or something

If there's a cell phone mast near by that could interfere with the fob signal.

Those are from WileyX ($175) and were covered under my new vision plan (thanks to a little help from optometrist I believe). TBH they are identical to ones I got from Wal-Mart for $90. But once you blow $400 on transition progressive lenses the cost of the frames is almost inconsequential.

Hi Brian I hope you’re having a good day. I was wondering if you came up with a solution on your cam situation was just very curious. Hoping we’ll see a update video soon I know that you were stuck between a rock and a hard place because you don’t like loud exhaust so hopefully everything works out well for you just interested to hear on how you’re approaching this problem. It can be very frustrating chasing horsepower and torque numbers!

Ba-dum-tssss. But seriously, speculation on why all three bikes would suddenly just lay down and throw up a middle finger to the world? I think it was EMI from something in the building because moving all the bikes apart and away from that spot seemed to revolve the issue
