We'll ask Chris for specifics, but the craft was custom built to have a very low centre of gravity, and for the cabin to be quite watertight, so unless it filled with water, it would naturally try to right itself when capsized.

i would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on Chris Bertish's acchievement as he claims to have paddled across the ocean...not on a lightweight race board but on a one person yacht. 2 million paddle strokes over 93 days, that is 21.500 paddle strokes per day PER DAY!!!! for 93 days in a row (in a paddle).....Not on flat lake water but on the vicious waves of the ocean .Imagine doing 21.500 strokes from left to right while making a step to the side because his so called SUP board is way to wide to switch paddle from left to right and back. Where is the proof of him paddling even a few minutes like this? Yes we did see some great pictures of him standing in the big waves, paddle in the air but can anybody show me footage of him paddling the waves so we can see that the number of 21.500 strokes make any sense??? between these 21.500 strokes a day Chris also had to rest, sleep,eat, poo and pee. You do the math! Yes Chirs is a real water sportsman and proved way more skills then me and many with me but what he claimed he did by crossing the ocean is in my eyes IMPOSSIBLE ( just as he claims) not I'MPOSSIBLE. There is enough fake news alreadu out there, do we realy need this in SUP en Surf sport also? I'm looking forward to receive footage to proof that I'm wrong and a looser sitting all day on the couch and picking on real sportsmen.
