From what I understand(and I almost don't understand the plot AT ALL), if you replay/rewatch it again knowing that there are other Aubrey's and that time is looping. Every killer we see is actually Aubrey and all the monsters are Aubrey's that have transformed into monsters. And Jake was right when he pointed out how the one bad ending when Aubrey 2 get stabbed by Aubrey 1, you just become trapped there and that also explains why the Aubrey has a missing eye. And by knowing this, you can actually know that Aubrey 1, (even tho there are multiple Aubreys and you can't just think of them with just the two Aubreys that we know, but it'll get confusing and I'm mostly referring to the numbered Aubrey's right now) DID NOT lie when she said she killed the killer because of the space time continuum breaking/being weird af so she did kill different killers/strangers/Aubreys, it was also evident when she said after she revealed herself that she killed so many things. And if you're curious about everything in detail, it'll give you more clarity if you read the Cat in The Box Wiki Fandom, and read Girl's(Aubrey's) info and then also reading the Endings info. There's a lot more interesting lore that Tuonto didn't tackle because there are other endings and deaths that helps explain the tons of Aubreys and how all the endings and death just connect with each other because of the weird space time cuntinuum thing happening. (if you read all this, sorry if I didn't make sense and thanks for reading it lol. So check out the wiki for better explanation)

I watched it all without skipping and damn the moral of the story, the plot, all of it is creepy and amazing, the part where we just learned that we (Aubrey) is in a loop is creepy and exciting at the same time. Everything about this game is amazing. And Aubrey jumping off the cliff i think is in a AU everything that happened even Aubrey killing her old self is an au, as it said on the dialouge. Also all of the dreams that she's having i think is a clue, the older Aubrey which is Aubrey 1 was foreshadowing everything that is gonna happen in the future.

Here is an theory. The reason Aubrey sacrificing her own finger worked for herself is because there was no other Aubrey to sacrifice for. When Aubrey 2 killed Aubrey 1 the Aubrey 1 was no longer an Aubrey, but would've been considered that monster (the tentacle thingy). So when Aubrey 2 sacrificed the only person she could sacrifice for was herself, and when she did that she opened the doors of the house (hence the reason the monster got out). Correct me if I'm wrong though.

My take on this is that Girl 2's finger worked instead on Girl 1's finger is that the pain of her cut finger hurts so bad she stayed morally conscious when she got out, she didn't rush to get out of there and so didn't fall off the cliff. That or maybe this other take that I have. Sacrificing Girl 1's finger meant using others as a means of escape, it's like running away cowardly and so she was probably deemed unworthy of getting out. And sacrificing her own finger meant she faced the problem head on and was able to go out.

really love watching you play horror games jake, you make them chill so it’s easy for me, someone who can’t handle horror that well, to watch!! :D also i got curious of the ‘good ending’ and watched (well looked through the comments) of another video and that tentacle in the window is apparently what will bring the world to its end (since aubrey 2 mentioned that cult said the world is coming to its near end or something along the lines of that) because when aubrey 2 succeeded in the ritual, the evil entity got released thus it appearing in the end. don’t know if its correct, i just saw it from another comment in a diff vid and thought it was pretty interesting! :D

So, this is the 2nd time i watch this and i just realised something. It might not be anything though. There is a priest (or at least that's how it looked like to me on pc, cause he has something that looks like a cross on his neck) at the end, outside of the room. And we all saw that black figure. What if the figure was waiting for the sister to get out? It's standing right before the door looking at it. Maybe the black figure has something to do with the cult or the ritual. During the game we see her sister appear sometimes and dissapear soonafter Aubrey tries to interact with her. What if she dies after they talk at the end of the game and inside the mansion is her ghost or it's a foreshadowing of her death. Maybe her appearances are signs to help her sister? Also, at the ending where Aubrey dies falling off the cliff what if the little "dream" or whatever it was that she had before dying was a way to tell us she reunited with her sister now that she died? Maybe i'm overthinking things, but i don't think that black figure doesn't have any meaning.
