let's appreciate that both Brett and Eddy managed to avoid the Bootstrap paradox(by giving the future piece to Bach so no one is the actual composer).Props to them

"You're under arrest!" "Really? I don't see a Rest?" I'm dying. These two kill me with their humor, I LOVE it! The whole world tour was fantastic, I so hope they do another one.

Insane! What a long, convoluted piece. Brett played it extremely well. Bravo 👏👏

Actually Bach was well informed about a composer and violinist in Weimar called von Westhoff who had written pieces with lots of counterpoint and doublestops and triplestops for the violin. Absolutely amazing stuff and easy to find here on KZbin.

Brett: FUGUES? What the fugue is that? Also Brett: You wrote the most iconic fugues for violin and if anyone can write one it's you. Also, I know people are tired of this repetitive meme template but I really have no choice at this point.
@ronelel21092 жыл бұрын
No I think Brett was just exaggerating on how fugues are rarely seen in music nowadays.
@Me-uv6kc2 жыл бұрын
in fairness, bach played string instruments so the idea that he couldn't think of how to do counterpoint on them is kind of lies, but this was awesome
@upsideken93852 жыл бұрын
They used piano in baroque era!! Even worse, they used equal temperament. Wait no, Bach used equal temperament. Edit: not a criticism, I loved it nevertheless. It was rather meant to be something I wanted to point out. But again, harpsichord is quite expensive and rare nowadays and organ is not very suitable.

10:29 you can clearly hear the wrong notes Brett played and then laughed of embarrassment. And he played live worldwide, that hurts mentally to see.

Ok. The street in the background shows people dressed in the style of the Belle Epoque (second half of the 19th century). This is definitely not 1717. And the police guy is dressed in a chain chemise of the middle ages. Just saying.
