In 1875, the French composer Saint-Saëns came to Moscow to give concerts. He turned out to be a handsome, charming and very lively person. It turned out that he and Tchaikovsky had many common interests, for example, ballet. Both of them were regulars at ballet performances in their youth. One evening, three of them together with Nikolai Rubinstein staged a choreographic improvisation on the theme “Pygmalion and Galatea.” It happened on the stage of the concert hall of the Moscow Conservatory. The part of Pygmalion was danced by the 35-year-old professor of music theory Tchaikovsky, Galatea was portrayed by the 40-year-old Saint-Saëns, and his peer, the director of the conservatory, Nikolai Rubinstein, improvised the musical accompaniment at the piano, portraying a theater orchestra. There was no audience, however. This story was told in his book “The Life of Tchaikovsky” by the composer’s brother Modest.

⚠️FOR BRETT AND EDDY⚠️ Its interesting seeing twosets quality improving, but I think we all miss the classics like goofy violin charades and low quality memes or random skits. Also strange watching twosets style improve over the years (good thing...)Brett and Eddy, we love this new glow up on both content and style, but please,we miss the old videos of just two best friends making silly videos and genuinely having fun, rather than youtubers just making content for the sake of content. Again, we'll love you guys no matter what, but i think we all scroll to your oldest videos and only glance at your latest ones because you can genuinely see the raw happiness and sillines in your content, and as the years go by, while yes, technically the quality improves, that precious joy and fun in making content- good or bad- seems to slowly disappear. Im not saying you guys dont love making videos ( i dont know you guys personally!) but im saying that focus less on creating new, exciting videos that may get more views and are technically more exciting, and please remember that even your silliest, most random videos and skits are made hilarious by you guys just being you guys! Its not the script that makes a video great, or the quality or the perfect hair and outfits or the backgrounds or scenarios, but the PEOPLE behind the cameras, that marks great content several notches higher than the average youtuber looking for views. Have fun, just trust that we'll love it no matter what, because at the end of the day, we just love watching Brett and Eddy on Twosetviolin being themselves, and that wont change regardless.
