Hey ladies, first time visitor to your channel. Thank you for your honest reaction to Liliac. Here are a few things that might help you know more. Sam - 22 years old - lead guitar Abigail - 21 - drummer Melody - 19 - lead vocals (used to play bass) Ethan - 14 bass (used to play rhythm guitar) Justin - 13 - keyboards (piano in this video) As others have said, this was their first ever ballad. I love Liliac, but didn't immediately love this song, but it grew on me. Knowing that, every other song of theirs will be rockier than this. So, if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. They started by doing lots of covers, but recently have been writing and producing more originals. Like you it took me a few listens for Sail Away to grow on me as I was so used to their harder rock style of their other music, but I really like this song now and it really is probably their most polished performance to date and shows just how far they have come as a band and how much further they will go.

Great reaction lady this is one of their latest songs which is happen to be a ballad. Band has been around for several years and for age; playing are well polished; don't judge be one song that is not a representative of most of their music. They write words/music and produce their own songs. Songs before this one are hard rock to what they call "vamp" metal. Great songs, covers and originals. pssst they dont need polishing. they played on the santa monica pier for 5 yrs. its called busking. the drummer for the police asked them to do an interview. OH wendy dio RJD asked them to play THE LAST IN LINE for the dio cancer concert. but they were on tour and did that video AND WENDY incorporated it into the song list. vinny appice dio and black sabbath sent them some videos of that songs live play. u can see it. lililac the last in line and its a cover of the dio song

If this is your first song of theirs, original or cover, you HAVE to go further down in the Liliac cave. (Liliac is bat in Romanian.) You started with their ballad. These kids do metal with the best. I am 61 and they give me hope for rock. Do anything else from any of their original music or check out some of the Dio/Iron Maiden/Black Sabbath covers. Hell, they just released a Joan Jett cover. They won't disappoint. Also, they are becoming as main stream as it gets with a music producing/manager father, Papa Liliac, as there ever will be. They have Fangs all over the world! As far as how long they have been around, look up music by The Cristeas when Melody was 11. She is now 18. They busked on the Santa Monica pier for about 5 years. Stewart Copeland even played with them there.

This band has many killer songs of their own , I suggest "we are the children", "Dancing in the dark", "Crown of thorns", "Mars" and "Mythical Creature" as a good sampling of what these kids are capable of, the truth is I grew up in the 60's and 70'a era of great Rock and Roll classics, and had Liliac been around back then with the music they are writing, they would have been way up on the charts giving all those great bands a run for their money and they would be considered one of those great bands today. But they are here now, and appreciation for really awsome original Rock is at an all time low, when music for the last 20 years has become a platform for the Gangster mentality and also heavily commercialized, as a result the real creativity of the actual music behind the lyrics has suffered in quality. One of Liliac's stated goals is to bring great Rock back to the mainstream where it belongs! I cant wait to hear what they will be producing in 10 years, as good as the stuff they are doing now at the young ages they are, after a little maturity their stuff will explode into some of the very finest examples of Rock and Roll ever written! They have a great future ahead of them as long as the stay the course and hold on to their vision and uniqueness and originality.

Ladies do not judge this band by this ballad, saying they need more polish is very unfair until you have heard more from them. Most people are blown away by their talent, listen to them do such songs as Holy Diver, Master of Puppets, The Trooper, Enter Sandman, Symphony of Destruction and then tell us if they need more polish. In every other reaction video the reactors are totally blown away by Liliac's talent!

Yes this is a great song. I think we all can work on whatever we need to polish up. They have been out for awhile now. There are very heavy songs that they do. They wrote this because the left California to go to Georgia. It was the song they wrote it for a sad but happy time. There are great metal songs that they have don’t like Holy Diver, Dancing in the Dark, Chain of Thorns, I hate myself fo loving you, Mars, master of puppets, Rainbow in the Dark, and The Trooper😀

and for being polished, they are damned good, theirdad is a music producer and the family does everything. Its all in house by them. google them and get more aquainted. For only being together as a band and playing their instruments for approx 5-7 yrs. Id say they are impressive to say the least. Any way, listen to their other stuff.
