"Throughout my days on Earth, I have gone by myriad names. I seasonally got wind of epithets such as a rootless strider, a hammer lacking a head, a trampled idealist, and in most instances a hopeless dreamer. And yet: One cannot bring a fantasist back to ground by such utterings. Words for him are like indistinct silhouettes above a sea. Seagulls that disappear into morning fog. They erode like statues of stone and abate like the men who built them. A dreamer’s hope can only succumb at the dawn of a more brilliant, precious one."

Two Steps From Hell and Merethe are probably the best featuring I have ever Seen. TSFH, the giant takes a fairy in his palm. But when you think the giant is carrying the little one, you juste realise they're both flying. Children of the Sun is, to me, the perfect representation, I mean... None shall pass is beautiful, powerfull and all. But... With Merethe singing... I feel like this song is litteraly the reincarnation of our Sun just in front of us.

Interestingly, I was reading a book (while listening to this) where two of the characters had been separated for 7-ish years due to unfortunate circumstances, and as I got to the part where they realized who the other was and reunited, the climax of the song was reached. It made that part of that book all that more emotional. . . The timing was just uncanny - in a good way!

I had a visual of my uncle entering Heaven after a long battle with his health. He enters at the beginning of this song in a new body. With no pain nor suffering. He begins to see relatives that had passed before him and they each take him by the hand almost dragging him. He runs with them, not knowing they’ve prepared for this day for so long. Everyone comes out to greet him, to welcome him to his new Eternal Home. He proceeds with them to hug one and all. At the end of the song, he enters the Great Banquet Hall of Heaven. Endless tables of food await him and everyone leaps to their feet and they cry out with joy that he is there. He cries tears of joy, seeing his mother and father already waiting for him. This was days before he passed. I know with all my heart that he held on for so long because he loved his family so much. But his earthly body was worn out. He suffered so much. Now he no longer suffers pain or anymore illness. He is free now. He has a new body, he is Home. I miss him. But I will hope and pray I will see him one day.

@Helloworld-ss5uv3 жыл бұрын
It sounds more like a successful end to me. Where the protagonists are reuniting with their significant others/siblings/families after years of having unforgettable escapades. Maybe one who is reuniting with a significant other had found that they didn’t know they were expecting a baby when they left to go adventuring and their child has grown during the time they have been gone. But it would also make for a very fitting opening for an adventure as well
