You gotta love Tate's patience. He doesn't push when the space isn't there. He waits for the right moment, then goes for it. Like on the start of the heat race. He mentioned that it was really bad. But the great thing is that Tate was able to see a spot opening up pretty far ahead of him, set himself up, waited for it, then came out of the first turn in 3rd. That's a great move. Keep it up Tate. Keep having fun out there.

Congratulations mate. I’ve been following your KZbin channel since the kids first got back on the bikes and it was the reason I started following super/moto again. The only supercross race I’d ever been to was early 2000’s when Chad came back and raced in Sydney until now …Tate in Melbourne. I took my brother and niece to the race and said that if you got a good start you’d be in with a chance,well you showed how far you’ve come, after a pretty ordinary start you rode smart and strong, didn’t give up and got the result. I’m so proud of you and look forward to following for years to come. ( Kiah in Melbourne 2025/26?)

Yeah, i mean now i freaking shred a tear. As one who followed Chad for over 25 years, cheering him on, traveled the world to root for him, through low points, and high points we always believed in Chad, and it literally sucked so hard when Chad was hanging up the boots. Seeing his son, coming through, Chad & Ellie putting their heart and soul into it, and Tate´s determination through these years, really accelerating and achieving HIS own goals. OFC its so cool that there is another Reed, that makes me genuinly happy, and to see Tate unfold, his persona and charachter, his way to aproach things, with mom and dad close to support him through thick and thin, one could see the entire familys joy! This sport is not easy, so much hard work and sacrifice from the family but ofc Tate himself, he wants this, and i truly from within thinks that this is just the beginning! This is Tate Reed, and he will make a mark when its all set and done, and boy has he already! Huge congratulations on the podium after the setback with that unfortunate injury!
