I have 5 helmets between my atv,side by side,snow mobile .my wife WILL be getting me this for my birthday in Feb.I've been using cheap units from Amazon and its time for some quality sound.I have custom molded earplugs I used for work.if you wear earplugs while riding,do yourself a favor and get custom molded plugs.super comfortable.

Thanks for the detailed information; it provided answers to a couple of questions I had. Note, though, that decibels are logarithmic and measure relative power; a 4db gain (over what? they never say) plus a separate 4db gain (over, presumably, the same mystery number) does not equal 8db, though this is clearly the expectation that Sena's marketing folks expect you to walk away with. That doesn't mean it isn't louder, or even significantly louder; it just doesn't mean what Sena is leading you to believe it means.

I have had so many issues with my "Top of the line" Sena 50s duo pack that I will never go back to Sena. Many firmware issues, Wind issues, Bad battery Life, Voice commands only work 50% of the time, Especially bad on any iPhone so I bought a duo pack of Cardo PacTalk Edge and have had Zero issues and have gotten more features and they are waterproof Where the Sena 50s was not. Thank you Cardo! However you did a great job on the review and it was very informative. TY

No. That being said, I’ve never needed it on any units, even with my earplugs.

Sena has always been able to charge while riding.. my 10 my 20S and 50s all charge while operating

Please check if you can remove the DJI Mic2 by connecting the 60S to your Action 5 via a Bluetooth and make the voice from the 60S mic will serve as your mic for the Action 5.. thanks!

While yes you can connect devices like that, the quality is far superior with the DJI mic.

I've had my 60S for a few weeks now..yes the 60S can be charged on the fly like my 20S Evo could...yes the 60S updates over the air with the Sena app and it updated right out of the box and it couldn't be easier to do...the 60S is much louder than my 20S Evo, in fact I had to turn the volume down with the 60S because the Sena voice was blowing out my ears. The music quialty is improved over my 20S Evo. The flashlight is just a gimmick...I thought the flashlight might be usefull at night to see in the fairing pocket or see the bikes cockpit at night while riding, but the 60S sits on too much of a downwards angle on your helmet so the flashlight is not that useful...you can take the 60S off its mount and use it as a quick flashlight. The BT connects to my Gold Wing more reliability than my 20S Evo did and I like that, but I'm also a bit disappointed that there is some sorta of static sound with the BT while on the phone. The BT does have longer range...meaning I can walk farther away from my Gold Wing before it loses connection than I could with my Sena 20S Evo. I really like that Sena finally made a headset that is waterproof...anyways that just my thoughts after a few rides with my 60S😮

hi Frank….are you riding a 2018+ Goldwing ?….it connects easy with the bike ?….with some other headsets you need to connect things in an order….what about the 60S ?…I recently purchased a JM headset, and I have an issue with it, so i’m considering switching to this 60S…..thx

Haven't watched the whole episode, but don't have a good feeling about this being a New and Improved item. I also just picked up my first pair of AirPod's and used them last night in a bar playing "Country Music" while I was trying to watch a Basketball game. I was able to drown out the CMShit and concentrate on the game. Too bad I couldn't link to the TV and not have to read the CC that BLOCKS too much of the screen.

Lots of unnecessary extras bits which can be bought separately makes it more expensive . I also don’t bother with speakers as the best sound is my ultimate ears in line moulded ear plugs 1 more space in helmet 2 sound direct to ears less interference louder sound will be interested to see how the wave phone works and if it supports groups

The only thing that warries me is softwear updates cause i was not able to get the 50S to do it and that is a lot of money for a devive that wont update from new I dont know about the 60S but ou did not show so thanks but to bigger risk for me
