As an Australian child growing up in Beirut in the 60s for ten years, my brother and I learned to speak Arabic well from the streets of Baabda. We were always safe on our own and always welcome. When you have lived in Lebanon, it remains in your blood forever. Everything about the country was positive, great scenery, delicious food, lovely people, and I never knew what it was to be bored. I moved to Perth because it had the same climate as Lebanon. Peace for Lebanon and all it's people..and a brilliant video, by the way.

Byłam w Libanie w ubiegłym roku. Kraj mnie zachwycił przyrodniczo i historycznie. Cudowny kraj.

I was pointed to watch your film from a marketing perspective, due to the quality drone footage captured. I grew up having two close friends from Beirut who always attempted to describe how beautiful their country was. I felt I never truly understood Lebanon because I never experienced it for myself. However, the way your team captured the essence of this country really spoke to me and broadened my horizons in understanding the country's beauty and cultural wealth. I own a marketing/multimedia production firm in New York, so the level of effort, talent, and passion your team put into the project is genuinely appreciated and understood. I adore the Rise Above The World endeavor as well. What a great initiative. Excellent job and keep up the great work.

there is no problem between Lebanese. the problem is political like most of the countries around the world . To have 19 deferent religious sects in Lebanon and all are represented in the parliament is not an easy work . In France UK and most of Europe a big conflict started to appear between muslims and locals just because of the deferences in religion and culture . you have to give a credit to Lebanon that is still stable with all what going on in the region the civil war in syria and the problems in neighboring arab countries . with all these differences between the Lebanese in religion and culture and beside Lebanon welcomed 600 thousands Palestinian refugees and nearly 2 million Syrian refugees in a small country with a population with less than 4 million Lebanese, Lebanon is still doing GOOD. This is the Lebanese miracle.

Oh God, don't start with conspiracy theories. CNN isn't showing anything false. I freaking live here. The river of trash is real. The garbage everywhere on the streets is real. Every dump you've seen is real. Lebanon has been slowly devolving into one big landfill for 8 months due to political neglect and corruption. The idea that it's still a tourist destination is absurd. Cedars of the Lord"), located in the Kadisha Valley of Bsharri, Lebanon, are one of the last vestiges of the extensive forests of the Lebanon cedar that anciently thrived across Mount Lebanon. All early modern travelers' accounts of the wild cedars appear to refer to the ones in Bsharri;[1] the Christian monks of the monasteries in the Kadisha Valley venerated the trees for centuries.

Profoundly touched watching this video with an overwhelming feeling of melancholy and longing....such a beautiful country; so rich in culture, history, nature and goodness in every aspect of life, yet haunted by conflict and instability in our time. Rise above is a great message. Very wise and I've grown to appreciate the value of little things and the triviality of others that nevertheless control our life. Always pause, zoom out, into earth near orbit or outer space, look down, fast forward like every second is a span of 10 years on earth and you're there observing a mere 10 seconds at best...do you notice anything? I feel blessed to see gracious beauty, nothing else matters

I commend the hard work put into this video, it will show people what Lebanon has to offer. However, as a Lebanese, I don't think it would encourage a substantial number of people to visit due to the unfortunate troubled circumstances that never seem to go away but get worse year by year. I think the day that Lebanon reclaims the title "Paris of the Middle East" is a day that will never come during my lifetime, but anything is possible, especially with people that have showed the same amount of love and dedication putting this video together.
