I get that the author of this story and her husband are hurt and sad that the younger brother in law wants nothing to do with them but I don’t understand why they only blame his wife for his actions. And why keep trying to convince him to divorce his wife. He clearly doesn’t want to leave her. They need to hold him accountable for his actions. He’s the one they did everything for. He’s the one they raised and supposedly sacrifice for. He’s the one choosing to allow his wife to divide him and his family. He’s a grown man making the decision to do that, to do what his wife says. So please, put the accountability on him. His wife is not forcing him to do anything. His wife is the scape goat for his actions. This is super sad. Nothing can be said about it, it’s just super messed up. But remember you guys have other brothers and sister in laws. In life, as family we would like to love everyone and for them to love us. In a perfect world we would like all our immediate family to know how to love each other. But unfortunately, there’s people that’s ungrateful and unthoughtful. The best thing to do is let them go. The sooner you let them go, the less you’ll hurt. The sooner you let them go and don’t expect anything, the less you’ll be disappointed and sad. In a perfect world, me and my brothers would love each other, but unfortunately, one of the biggest haters is one of my brothers. I don’t hate him, but he hates me, and after everything I’ve ever done for him and his sons, they all gave me the middle finger. I’ve went above and beyond for him and his kids. Even after he does evil and mean things to me, I still went out of my way to help him. I’ve even put forward thousands, I means upwards of $30k to help his sons. But in the end, his sons gave me the middle finger when I needed their help the most. But it’s ok. Just love the ones who love you. And of course we try to still love our brothers even if they do messed up things and of course we don’t have the heart to let them go, and we still always try to still make up and make things good again. But from my experience, it’s just going to end in disappointment and it’s just going to hurt you more if you keep trying to do good things for them or keep helping them. The more you help them, the more they’re just going to screw you over and then leave you disappointed. Best thing to do is let them go, sooner the better. Life is a journey and sometimes in the journey of life, some of our loved ones are only burdens and hold us back. Let go of the dead weight and only bring along the ones who will love you and make you better. Let them go, let them go. It took me 10 years to finally let go of my brother and all his kids. I’m done with them for good. You should too, let go of your brother and his family, Especially his wife. She’s nothing more than a stranger. In fact she’s worst than a stranger, strangers will often help you and don’t hate you. She hates y’all and she will watch you die without any feelings at all. Let them go.

Too bad we're only hearing one side of the story. I wouldn't be surprise if they had all these expectations of their sister in law cause they feel like they've raised all the siblings and therefore consider themselves to be the parents. The sister in law made it clear that they will not be living with them once they get married. Yet, the brother was ok with it. He's said as long as his wife loves him, he's ok with it. Don't expect her to love them. That wasn't the tone the brother wanted to set. He was all for how his wife was going to love him and only him.
