That’s why BigHit don’t just accept already great trainees to debut, they also accept those who have great potential and dedication even if they’re still a bit lacking (and they don’t just choose anyone either because that’t not what I’m saying). I remember people saying that they don’t have talent during their debut days (even though they were pretty good back then too imo), but it’s because BigHit intended to choose those who have potential to grow throughout their career if they work hard. BH saw something in Soobin, and I bet BH never regretted taking in Soobin. Now you can see the growth of not only Soobin, but all five members of TXT. Hard work and dedication got to where they are today. And I’m sure they’re still improving and wanting to learn more.

This is very true. I believe they choose people who are not only talented but also people who are willing to learn. Plus those who have good personality. I think that's what makes bighit different from other entertainment company and it's actually nice.

Yes. Talent shows what you're now. But potential shows what you will be in future. I think it's hard to see the potential in someone than talent. But BIGHIT succeeded finding people with great potential. Ex:BTS. Whatever the formula they used to form BTS, I'm sure Bighit must have used that same formula to form TXT too.

@じゅんぺい yes. I noticed that too. Even other members once mentioned about kai's weird behavior in debut days. It seemed like his expressions, smile were artificial and also I thought he was faking all the time or hiding something. But members say that nowadays, he honestly express himself instead of smiling all the time and openly talk about how he feels. His expressions are getting more natural.

@@indusithpiuminda4461, we do forget how young Kai was as a trainee and when he debuted. I think that some of his natural shyness and nervousness made him a little awkward in the very public life of a Kpop idol. Time and the support of his members have done a lot for HueningKai. I agree that Kai being able to honestly express himself shows more of his true self. At nineteen years of age(International), he's maturing into an amazing young man.

@@CindersVale yes. And also Kai seems emotionally (these days physically too) stronger than other 4 members. I was surprised once Soobin said Kai was a crybaby when he was a trainee. But I've never seen Kai crying after he debuted in 2019. Even in a situation like receiving an award, he just smiles while others shed tears. All the members have grown so much since the debut. Specially kai shows a huge difference compared to his debut days. And it's a good thing. I just want all of them to be themselves.

BigHit also saw that trainee Soobin possessed a strong protective instinct. Look at how he took HueningKai under his protection back then. Soobin's temperament is well-suited to being the leader for those four extroverts that make up the rest of TxT. As an MC for Music Bank, we've all seen how most idols were charmed by his personality and character. Soobin has worked hard for each step of his success. Someday, Soobin will decide to do something else in the industry when his feet or knees can't take the complex dance routines anymore. I can see BigHit offering him a position in the company. Perhaps working with trainees or nurturing upcoming groups is something I could see Soobin doing exceptionally well.

Soobin has said in the past that he isn't interested in acting. BUT, that might change if he and the other members got guest or cameo roles in a film or series. I think Soobin would give acting a try if his members were there with him the first time. Once Soobin actually experienced working in a suitable role? I believe that he would be willing to give acting a try. I'd love to see Soobin for his Vlive watch the series 'Hwarang' that had V from BTS and Minho from ShinEE in it. Maybe that could open his mind up to the possibility of acting?

Soobin is just different from other leaders. He's an introvert leader, but what makes him more amazing is how all of his members, even the staffs in their company agreed for him to be the leader. Despite of being shy and quiet, he's very caring and always make sure that his members are okay, he always compliments them, encourage them, cuddle them, and he's just a soft person. Soobin also have this charm that the first time you can see him, he may be look like a cold person but as soon as you saw his smiles and his dimples, anyone can get whipped. Just like what happened on Music Bank, almost every idols are just so fond of him, there are even idols who have mentioned how Soobin did a great job being the MC and took care of them. He's the type of MC who do an action as soon as you forget your lines, he will notice that and show his script card immediately. Not only that but the sweet interactions he has with idols like being hugged or hugging them, shaking hands, teaching them the hop hop moves, motivating the idols before the start of the interview by saying FIGHTING!, etc. HE'S JUST THE BEST. Soobin's been my bias from day 1 and I always found his ability to be soft, shy and cute yet so hard-working and able to lead a group and own a stage admirable. He really is a great example of what an idol should aspire to be and watching his confidence soar since his earlier days has been rewarding to see as a fan. I think BigHit really took their time and knew what they were doing when they formed TXT. Every aspect of the group is handled with care and intention, so choosing the members was definitely a huge part of that. They were right to choose Soobin.
