@@kpopauntie the song doesn’t have a MV and very experimental. Many people don’t really like it because is the use of auto tune and don’t understand the lyrics, but with your ability of lyrics comprehension I believe you can do it, haha

I love how you describe their lyrics as the grown-up phase, from teenage being adult, like that, yeah you right. some people said, these lyric is about how hard they go through as a trainee, and after their debut, they still have the hardest time because of some expectation that people set and the thoughts about they have to be like their senior. (cmiiw, also I'm sorry if my word confusing because English isn't my 1st language)

this song is sort of a pov of a real situation that brought a lot of controversy in south korea: a puma scaped the zoo and was shot to death, even tho it didn't harm anyone. while some people believed that was the right choice, since the animal represents danger, some believed it shouldn't be killed, since it didn't actually endangered anyone. in a future song "what if i had been that puma" they question if they would make the same choices as the puma, since scaping would not only mean their freedom, but also their death. if staying in the zoo would be better, even if it meant to be encaged your whole life. (the translations to the song is pretty confusing tho) but as every txt song, they put many layers to it and there are countless interpretations. for example, you can interpretate as growing up as you said, or as their life as trainees becoming idols and many other personal interpretations. although this is my first time commenting, i've been watching your txt reactions. i'm loving it and the interpretation you always have on their lyrics.

It was really interesting for me to find out that the song was based on a true story. It puts a whole twist on the song. And the way the lyrics are written, it could be an analogy for so many things. It feels open-ended for interpretation. Now I really want to check out the follow-up song.

You should check out their song eternally, it’s on the same album as puma. However the music video for it is really long (19 minutes) and doesnt have the song playing all the way through since it’s a part of their storyline
