They performed this song at Madison Square Garden in June and their live performance of their entire set list was amazing; definitely did NOT disappoint! I've never gotten so addicted to a TXT MV THIS quickly! Its literally just been a few minutes? Deja Vu is SO addicting omgg. the Soobin/Beomgyu chorus?? Yeonjun's vocals?? Everthingg it feels like all of TXT's songs are combined together! Which is what they were most likely going for tbh based on the teasers. The instrumental at 0:39 is also soo dreamy sounding! I was obsessed with the teaser version of it aswell Also, did anyone notice in 1:56, Taehyun's eyes drips out in purple and flowers grow around him? Like a Deja Vu, and we see kids running with masks. It's like the feeling of knowing our memories when we were kids but not everything from our memory will be retained. Vagueness appears, just like how blurry and almost twisted the backgrounds are in this mv. The feeling that suddenly made us feel nostalgic yet we are stuck here in the future, hoping to relive thos moments but it just won't be the same again. And Deja Vu just made it into a melody, that's some felt like the song is nostalgic, reminding us that it was like songs during the 2nd and 4rd generation kpop but still sound modern. The only thing we can have in the present is the feeling of wanting to go back and thus create an atmosphere where the same feeling and scenes can be relived once again. And there's more to dig into what this songs make me feel, and I haven't dig deep into the lyrics yet. I love this so much.
