They do it because sometimes the subtitles aren’t always correct. Or what they’re singing means something different to what the subtitles translate it to. They mentioned it in one of their past videos about the reason why they decipher the subtitles and what they’re saying and everything x

With songs I normally know whether I like them or not afters the first 30 seconds but with this song by TXT I knew as soong as the beat started I'd love it and i do. The beat is amazinly good and the singing/rapping is some of the best where as the MV seems dark but it really fits well with the lyrics and talking about the lyrics they are just so powerful and some to which I can relate too..

So here's what I found.... I mean I know everyone knows about this.... The music video begins with the boys Soobin, Yeonjun, Hueningkai, Beomgyu, Taehyun shoving off garbage, a reflection of them dumping their feelings and embracing the hurt. With Soobin smashing his hand across a mirror in anger, you see them putting the concept of ‘love’ and ‘forever’ behind them as they are left to deal with a breakup. They are angry, hurt, in pain and frustrated. With lyrics implying that they feel freer embracing the darker side within, we hear them say "Love is a lie. I loved that lie" and "I feel free now". As if mocking themselves for falling in love, we also see Yeonjun laugh sarcastically before they pause to say, "I like being bad." At the press conference, the members reiterated that this is not a “sad album” but rather a reflection of the anger seeping within. The Chaos Chapters had focused more on first love and romance, now leading up to them embracing and dealing with the breakup. The title track, Good Boy Gone Bad, aims at showing the reflective side of the boys, who have grown as artists ever since their debut. Yeonjun also specified that his rap in Good Boy Gone Bad has lyrical references to Loser Lover and that with this album, they will officially be moving to the next chapter as a group. Soobin asserted that by the end, when fans listen to Thursday's Child Has Far To Go, they can shake off the pain and move on with their lives. But I'm still confused by Beomgyu being drowned in that grave.... And I also noticed that everyone was singing in a raspy voice as if like they are literally showing their anger but Soobin voice was like he is in depression or something except that good boy gone bad, good boy gone bad.... Ughh so much confusion...!!

some say that the cat may not be there, but the blue and green colors are everywhere (especially in Yeonjun's scene in front of the Thursday's Child shop) so basically, it's still there... AND BEOMGYU... the "good" Beomgyu on the garbage bags... his necklace/choker resemble thorns and Yeonjun's "pain"

I read this comment on another reaction I watched & it makes so much sense. All credit goes to her. Amy Morgan Something fun to note! This song/album has already been declared by bighit as a song/album about the process of getting over a breakup/getting dumped (at least on the surface. I know there are storyline easter eggs in here. There always is in "non storyline" mvs/eras). So considering this, Beomgyu in the trash most likely signifies them getting dumped (supposedly by the girls in lovesong/loser=lover) and them turning into bad boys and killing off their good boys selves that got dumped. Now what is fun about this is that in the Lovesong era albums, there is an album that has the boys waiting for "us" for a date with different props, and in this era albums there is a version where they are in the trash and alley way with things around them; and some detective moas have found similar looking items in the trash with them (like yeonjun's bike and helmet, teddy bears, flowers, baloons) from the version where they are waiting for us for a date with these items. So that was a really cool tie in. Side note: The 'lovesong era' album they mentioned with the 'waiting for us photos is 'THE CHAOS CHAPTER: FREEZE'. You guys should listen to the album. Each song covers a different stage of a breakup. This song is the "anger/rage" phase. Listening to the album takes you from denial all the way through to acceptance. The album is AWESOME!

I’m sure there are a million metaphors and symbolism for the flowers, but I can’t help but think of The Snow Queen, which is a story they’ve been following for a while (very clearly since Blue Hour). That story has a lot of flowers. Idk if this point of the story is Kai breaking the flower beds because he can’t see good anymore due to the shard in his eye, or if it’s Gerda leaving the flower garden. They sort of both fit and since the ones with the most flowers in the MV are Hueningkai, who is usually the one with most references to the story’s Kai (for obvious reasons I assume) and Beomgyu who is usually the one with the most Gerda references (or Anna which is Frozen’s version Gerda), the MV doesn’t seem to focus, or care to focus, on which point it is. Either one is abt leaving something behind and moving forward.
