I really like soobin's leadership it's more subtle and gentle than that of other kpop group leaders, like, he doesn't overpower his members, he supports and cares for them, that's the way he leads them, by encouraging them to become better, it is truly amazing. and I am glad you pointed out how he brings the group together!!

I love this and I agree! Soobin is like the quiet pillar of TXT. He’s reliable and supportive, and steps in when he needs to. And the members know this and lean on him a lot. I love his leadership style and their dynamic together.

I agree. I also noticed that other leaders tend to act like they aren't part of group(?) or like they can't act immature too, so they usually stand on the sidelines. Soobin engages with the group and acts like a member instead of almost avoiding them. What I mean to say is that a leader doesn't need to act like a leader ALL the time, they know when to lead and when to have fun.

soobin mentioned in his recent livestream that although he is introverted of course he’ll become lively if he’s with those he’s most comfortable with i think he really shines during non-interviews like their variety show or just behind the scenes youtube content he also mentioned that in certain environments he doesn’t want to be the center of attention which is why he can seem standoff-ish i really cant imagine being the only introvert in a group full of vibrant extroverts i think it’s easier for him to let everyone else speak

I believe Kai looks to Taehyun a lot because they are the same age and very much best friends so they are extremely comfortable with each other. Watching all of txt and especially Kai grow and develop such strong confidence has been really cool. I still work on my own confidence and sounding sure of myself while speaking, with my career and in my personal life. I work with people very closely and as someone who enjoys privacy I can’t imagine being in the public eye, at that young age and with the amount of pressure they were under when they debuted. They’ve always been really engaging, funny, and kind, but they’ve developed their confidence in themselves and in each other well.

You got that correct! Taehyun has mentioned before that when it comes to "variety show" or fast paced interviews like this one, he just lets other members like Beomgyu talk. As he thinks such things are not his forte.

TXT recently spoke with Rolling Stone on their ACT: LOVESICK tour in NYC. Unfortunately, Beomgyu was seriously under the weather and excused himself from the interview early on and Soobin, who is very close to Beomgyu, was concerned about his welfare and couldn't quite engage with the interviewer. HueningKai was a true professional and took control, spoke most of the English (TXT had a Korean/English translator on-site), was the most assertive I've seen, fielded most of the questions and was generally engaging and funny. You can take a look at that interview and check their group dynamics under what was a slightly stressful situation.

Love your analysis on TXT, Max! You're always so spot on!! Yeonjun is indeed very confident, and Taehyun is actually very adorable and lets his guards down when they film fun variety shows! You can check out and react to their own variety show, 'To Do', to see more of their fun personalities and how they behave in more informal settings!! And yes, Huening Kai tends to look at other members to sort of seek for validation or confirmation when he speaks during interviews. He's been like this since their debut, but recently he likes to look at Taehyun more. This is because they claim that they are best friends! Both Taehyun and Huening Kai have expressed that they are each others' best friend forever. They are also roommates and they are of the same age which contributes to their closeness alot! They are both born in 2002. Both of them have also expressed that they don't want to change roommates in the future HAHAHA but the members want a change Just FYI, Soobin and Beomgyu are roommates, and Yeonjun sleeps alone in their dorm As for their leadership, from my observations, I think Huening Kai's leadership comes in during interviews. He always have something to say and will get the group out of situations! Same for award shows, when the members are overwhelmed or crying, Huening Kai remains composed during these situations and his leadership comes in even though he's the youngest! Taehyun's leadership comes in during serious moments as well, but he's also quite a "YOLO" person, and he has a contrasting side to him!! Beomgyu is the leader of variety shows and being funny, he's the mood maker in this group. Thank you so much once again for your reaction video, Max! Hope to see more TXT reaction on your channel ~

Soobin let their members to speak when they want to and have really deeply thoughts of something. Every one of them have different interest and shines in different moment. Tae shines more with interviews that requires their full professionalism, Kai brakes the ice first. Yeonjun is more focused on the performance and for entertainment content is Beomgyu with Kai. Soobin listen everything and constantly evaluates the situation, but besides that he trust their members to make the group shine. But when something starts to bother their members he just stood up and politely delivers the attention to him and answer honestly. What is interesting about Soobin is that he is unpredictable, you may say he is so kind that cannot say nothing but he is very honest when something hurt or bother their members. Like when some haters called Yeonjun fat, he just them: "Before comment look at you first" You cannot hate him or being offended because that's true and without intention to be hurtful just honest.

Thank you, as always, for the really fun and interesting video! I'm always happy to see TXT content on your channel and hear your thoughts about them. Kai is not the most fluent English speaker in the group (that would actually be Yeonjun), but he _is_ the most extroverted*, especially these days. And Huening Kai and Taehyun do have a special friendship because they're the same age. They absolutely rely on each other and are very close. Clarification because some folks might take issue with the extroversion comment: Everyone in TXT aside from Soobin has the MBTI type E and each self-identify as extroverted. _However,_ on a scale of most extroverted to least extroverted within those four, Huening Kai has recently been the most extroverted, confident, and outspoken. Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun are also extroverted, and all five of them have moments and signs of confidence, but they also (especially in interviews) will cede to Huening Kai when he wants to speak up because they're supportive of him as their younger brother. It's not exactly a happy video, and I don't know that it's something to react to because the artists themselves are likely not all that proud of it, but if you're personally interested in seeing some interesting ways their group dynamic plays out, there was a recent interview with Rolling Stone where Beomgyu had to get up and leave partway through due to feeling sick. That might be interesting for you to watch on your own time to see how the group dynamic shift and how Soobin's style of leadership ('supporting from behind' as he refers to it) actually puts _Kai,_ the youngest, in the role of leading the interview with Taehyun and Yeonjun holding their brother up so that Soobin can look after Beomgyu, who needed the most support.

taehyun and huening kai definitaly have a special connection, they are both the youngest so they rely on each other a lot. Tawhyun also says many wise things so what I think is that bc hushing kai and taehyun spend more time together hushing ka=ia would definitely look up to taehyun

Hueningkai and Yeonjun speak english well because Hueningkai was born in Hawaii then came to Korea while Yeonjun stayed amd studied in America for almost 2 years. Then the whole group trained in the US before they debuted. So yeah, I guess they can do English pretty well.

You should react more to their Korean activities. People like Beomgyu usually doesn't show their best communicative skills in interviews, especially in another language. He is considered the most chaotic and attention seeker among all the members, but in this kind of analysis he doesn't stand out particularly.

Liam has done countless interviews with TXT since their debut until now especially whenever TXT released new album TXT also has sort like q&a video after the release of their album The Chaos Chapter FREEZE & Minisode2 Thursday's Child in their own channel called "T:Terview". I recommend the one they did for FREEZE because you can see each of them answering sone questions and also explaining about their album

Hey! I love your content and thoughtful observations so much! Of course I can't speak for Kai in any way, but in general people who are neurodivergent in some way i.e. autism, adhd, social anxiety, etc find making direct eye contact very difficult or impossible, and forcing themselves to do so "masking" can be very draining and mentally harmful. Again, I have no idea if Kai has any underlying reasons for not making eye contact, and I think you're a very humble and respectful person, I just thought I might bring up that some people even when confident have brains that function differently than neurotypical people. Well hueining Kai is from Hawaii and he’s half German im pretty sure, so he speaks English.

Kai was born in Hawaii but only lived there a month before moving to China, then he moved to Korea later. He has the same amount of English training as Soobin or Beomgyu I'm pretty sure. Yeonjun and Taehyun have more English training since Yeonjun lived in the US for a few months in elementary, and Taehyun filmed English learning videos as a child.

they did an interview with rolling stone just a couple of days ago you should watch it and it is really good. Kai is good in interviews inmost recent interview he is more talkative and he's actually really good and does take leadership in leading the interview its evident in the rolling stone interview.

(repeating my comment lol) thank you for this! if you want to see a more vulnerable side of TXT, I would reccomend their comeback showcase for Blue Hour (link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmGQiWqCidN1d9k) where the staff makes them watch a surprise video with messages from the fans, and they all get quite emotional (and some even cry). I think it would be interesting for you to see a more mature side of them, although we love their energetic and fun side!
