Everyone from red platoon hates this guy and says he doesn't deserve the medal. He also never ran ammo to anyone. But this is what everyone from red platoon says. A lot of the blue platoon guys hid underneath their cots and didn't even fight then when the camera was around they said they fought super hard.

Everyone from the red platoon says different. He never ran ammo to anyone during that battle when jones was asking for ammo and carter never came. Carter was in the humvee the whole battle. I get the saved maced, but other soldiers saved more lives during the battle while under fire and they didn't hide in a humvee. Just about everyone from the blue platoon hid underneath the cots and cried and didn't even help fight. just about everyone who died was from the red platoon, which shows who was out fighting.

​@happinesshotel5375 You should do some research about how the medal of honour is awarded. A soldier's commanding officer writes a report to nominate a specific soldier for an award. It then gets reviewed by a board. One cannot write a citation for themselves and nominate themselves, you know. If everyone from Red Platoon says that Carter didn't do the things his citation says he did, then how did his commander know what to write to put him up for the medal? It was the sergeant who was in the humvee himself who testified that he did go out and save Mace. It was the members from Red platoon themselves who testified about what Carter did. Otherwise, he would have never been put up for an award by his commander, who wasn't even there during the battle.
