Maybe I've listened to the wrong version (live Amsterdam six years ago with Joe Bonamassa)... it's a perfect piece of music, her voice is masterful, Joe's killing it with his solo, the band is great - but I miss the soul, the pain in it, it feels as if she enjoys watching him with that other girl and couldn't get enough of it, rather voyeuristic... which is your favorite version of it with her, this one?

Glad you feel it too! - She's unique by nature because of the way her voice resonates and comes out with overtones, she's constantly and simultanously singing her own harmonies, as if her voice was wrapped in yet another voice. Singers may study, practice and master vocal techniques as vibrato, breath control, melismas, runs and the like, work on their timing and dynamics, but the thing Diana has cannot be learned, she is a rare freak of nature in the best meaning. You do not have to love the way her voice sounds, but if one does (like I do) he'll be well aware that he may not hear another voice like this in his lifetime and thus go for anything Diana does. If I had to choose between listening a new song from any given singer or Diana it would always be her I picked. - Not every song she does is epic, some are even ridiculous like that "Mama, I'm Dancing" imho, which was disappointing for me after her truly epic rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love" one week before, her voice still was unique, but the song was bad (the rules of that show she's currently featured in demanded her to sing one in the category "modern song", she was clearly not comfortable with that and I'll never listen to it again...), but if she feels at home with a song and sings it with hear heart and soul, the outcome will be outstanding and non-replicable by anyone... ❤️100%❤️ спасибо за вашу прекрасную реакцию!
