I also am a Diana fan. Her back story will make you cry and bring you joy as well. She was a abused ( beaten ) child. Her Momster ( no dad ) abandoned her at 4 or 5 years old. Her extended family found her in the streets injured. They brought her to an orphanage where she was taken in. She didn't speak. After trying the normal methods of teaching failed, one woman working there brought her to a singing teacher to see if he had any ideas. When she heard the music she started making little yodel sounds. She was coming out of her shell. She learned to talk so she could sing. About 4 years later the woman who helped her, adopted her. She is the lady wearing glasses in some of the videos. Makes you root for even more. P.S. The bald guy is Igor Kurtoy. He is a big deal in the Europe music world. He is now Diana's mentor as he is to DiMash.

What you were not allowed to see on tv: The audience in the studio were so excited and so angry that they kept on applauding for 5 minutes. The jury could not say anything after they turned around. Finally Diana asked the audience to calm down and to give the jury a chance to say something... Did you notice that the jury did not push the buttons, butterfly suddenly gave Diana a standing applause! Isn't that strange? And look at the end of the weak excuses made by the jury..Diana may show that she can sing more than just jodel songs: A part of "Non je ne regrette rien" by Edit Piaf. Amazing!
