The last possession for Ty after the steal, I was saying "take the 2 Ty". After he slowed the game down I said "take the 2!!!!!" 😂. Although it was the right decision to kill the clock, I wouldn't have been that patient on a fast break with seconds left on the clock.

Keep off L2/LT and just try to chase him off the line. It’s hard to explain but you just gotta know how to bait people into taking bad shots. Dude actually defended it pretty well until he got stuck on the other player.

I think this is more about your defensive settings and if you're playing defense off ball, on ball or a mixture of both. I say that because once you get clipped like that on the screen or your path obstructed and he's fading away as well, the closest you can get to a stop is with the hedge defender. So if you're switching everything you've got a better chance of contesting that. If you're off balling then you have to play high/stay attached to the screener so once you see the defender is clipped heavy on a screen you'd be ready/close enough to contest. Playing high means you need to be willing to give up 2s to get better contests on 3s. At the end of the day its all about your settings and defensive play style.

@@PostControlla Ive got my setting set to tys from like? 4-5 weeks ago when he broke them down. (once my wife is off the big tv, ill have to put those settings on here) I do a mix of both, i try to offball and watch for tells in their offense. Like if they do a lot of wiggle back shoot 3, i try to watch for the movement anim to stop, switch from offball to the guarding player and then push forward and contest if they shoot. If they do a lot of screen, i try to switch on as they call the screen and keep up with them, while switching back and forth to others and adjust positioning. But when they do the run shoot on the run thing, i never can seem to keep up, and they seem to be able to gum up the area with like 3-4 players. Im going to try the above idea, of trying to bait them and just run with them with no L2. I was going to try to grab a defender and maybe bring it over to one side as well? so i could guess 1 way while having a defender at the other direction they could run? It just feels bad and sorta unguardable against some people. Thanks for the info man!

@@MadMike_X I also updated my defensive settings with Ty's vid a few weeks back but to suit my defensive style. From what you've said it seems like you're doing the right things. Yea try the idea mentioned above. With the speed of the players as well as their release speeds with the end game cards, some shots just seem unguardable because if you try to manually go under or over the screen that split second is just enough time for a good player to get an open shot off. That's why I enjoy Myteam more when the cards aren't this overpowered lol
