2024 Cadillac XT5 Sport - Features Review & POV Test Drive

I don't get why this engine in other GM vehicles only needs regular gas but they recommend premium gas for the XT5 when it's the exact same engine as other GM vehicles with the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6

Nice review! The XT5 was supposed to be axed at the end of 2023 because Cadillac felt it was in competition with the new Lyric. But people still like and want the XT5. The XT5 was continued now to 2025 model. XT5 is a big seller and very popular in China and it did get a refresh with the same interior changes as the 2024 XT4 there. It's a shame GM/Cadillac didn't do that here but instead banked it all on a car they can't produce nor that people want. (Lyric) I have a 2020 XT5 premLux loaded and it's hands down best car I ever have had I'll never get rid of it.

I miss my 2015 SRX. And my 2017 CT6 plug-in hybrid. I currently own a Chevy Bolt EUV. The 2024 Cadillac XT5 premium with all four packages and the 6 cylinder would combine the best of my SRX and CT6. I’m thinking this month ( January ) would be a good time to trade If I cant find a loaded XT5 with a light colored interior. I’m so tired of Black interiors Thanks for your eye opening video. Love that XT5 color combination

You are a bit north. I found a dealership in Leesburg Florida. ( Plaza Cadillac ) that I prefer to do business with. They also purchased my 2017 CT6 the last week of the 4-year warranty while I was in having it serviced. They gave me $10,000 over KBB and a chauffeured ride home. @@tydrives4846

What cruise system does this car have. Standard or adaptive? Blind spot monitoring, self-parking? What fuel? Premium or regular ? The Electronic Package covered most of the items you mentioned but inquiring minds would like more answers

The XT5 will have a standard cruise control if not equipped with the Driver’s Assist Package, then it will have Adaptive. The Technology Package will include self parking. All Cadillacs as of the 2024 model year will have blind spot warning as standard. The V6 in this XT5 will run on regular gas. Hope this helps!

That is odd. The 2024 XT4 ( one down from this ) comes with a 33 inch ONE big screen. Yet for some reason they put two screens on this XT5 and even have analogs. I wonder why they did that vs the new 33 inch in the XT4? I prefer the XT4. Nicer screen, ability to put map from right to left side
