I disagree that everyone is a child of God ! I get that we are all made in the image of God, that he knew us before we were in our mother whom and that our hairs are numbered. But we all have a choice to make while we are here on this earth ! In Scripture the Lord said, he’ll rather for us to be hot or cold and not lukewarm, choose this day who you will serve ! I agree with what Tye tribbett was saying besides the statement that everyone is a child of God, that’s not necessarily true. 1 John 3:10 is just one of the scriptures that give evidence. Not even everyone in the church is of God if we can be completely honest, there’s wolves in sheep clothing among us. Other than that I agree with tye.

So while folks are getting so upset over what was said, are we looking at how we teach about how to enter the Kingdom of God? Are we teaching about repentance? But I get what he was trying to said after I listened to his own response to the backlash. He said way more in that then he said on the interview. I didn’t grow up in church, I’m a new Christian. I went to church sometimes but I didn’t have a strong relationship to God, Christianity or a church. So I’m still learning about a lot of stuff. Maybe you should understand that everyone’s understanding is not the same bc their knowledge isn’t the same. I’m still learning. You can keep the attitude, it’s not helpful.

The Bible says in Ephesians that before we get saved we all were darkness. Darkness is not God His children, it's darkness, children of wrath, people of the night, those in wickedness, those chained to the devil. What Tye is saying is unBiblical and he has that problem since he is over compensating rebelling against the fake wrong church that he went overboard in freedom allow wrong doctrine in and in the church he started, for example making his wife a speaker and pastor in their church while otherwise is clearly written. I agree with Tye, however we are not all God's children, though we are all God's creation. Hebrews 12:7-8 explains how anyone who does not endure God's chastening is a bastard and not a child of God, which all are partakers of. Only those who submit to God's ways are children of God.

The church is its own enemy. I think we do a lot of things out of pride and not truth or love. All it would have taken is a conversation in a Christian environment for Ty to elaborate. My only question is , if he sees no real value for the local church assembly, why did he start a gathering? Additionally, the criticisms has for pulpits also exists among gospel artists. The gospel music "industry " has serious problems...but he didn't adamantly call that system whack.
