There is an indie license for 3DS Max and TyFlow has a free version, this is included in the free version.

@@pau2k yes , i own an indie licence, its awesome! Even though i really appreciate the free version, it would be amazing if we could have a proper full feature (or slightly trimmed) license for smaller creators.

Tyflow fan base is the same as blender fan base, something new comes out - its like houdini! Nooo... Its not even close, vdb workflow is terribly slow, tyflow uses physx which is real time game engine, not bullet, don't get me wrong - I love tyflow and using it on daily basis, but comparing it to houdini is nonsense.

@@Kill3dge you can not compare a complete 3dapp to a plugin. But you can compare houdini booleans to tyflow booleans. And tyflow is just faster, and with artistic tools. Whats the problem with physx vs bullet? Is not that they are very different other than again, rbd dynamics in tyflow are quite faster than in houdini.

@@Kill3dge I think it's an unfair assessment. Houdini is a powerful piece of software which I can only respect, but I was referring to certain functionality that both of them share - and tyFlow is shockingly capable in many ways to the point it's often faster and easier to achieve desired results. It extends 3ds max's functionality greatly and that it can rival Houdini in some aspects is a phenomenal achievement.

PRISM is available to all users, including those using tyFlow FREE. The only caveat is that when using PRISM within tyFlow FREE, you will not have access to its multithreading or GPU acceleration - so it will run considerably slower than it would in a fully licensed version of tyFlow. But FREE users will have access to all of its features in the various modifiers/operators where it is integrated.
