I have two complaints. 1. Why isn't this song performed more? 2. Why wasn't Feuerräder the staple song isn't of du hast :'( [Those people are so lucky they got to see this amazing song performed live.]

I guess the band didn't see it as much of a 'hit' so they discontinued playing it in 1996. There's a guy on a Rammstein fan forum who's first time seeing them live was this concert. I've also talked to other people who saw them way back in the early days (1994 - 1997). It's awesome to hear their stories.

Yeah, it was always one of my favorite songs and this is the closest I've ever gotten to seeing it live, so it's rare enough. I always wished that the Demo version on the Fan Edition Engel single wasn't the only release, it deserves a full master (that doesn't cut off the end.)

They experimented a ton with different set lists in the early years. This show was during their first headline tour in December 1995 and on that tour they played ‘Feuerräder’, ‘Jeder Lacht’, and the early version of ‘Sehnsucht’. It’s also reported that ‘Alter Mann’ ‘Schwarzes Glas’, and ‘Wilder Wein’ were played on various dates. They seemingly rotated through their back catalogue on each show they performed. I speculate that the mysterious ‘Sonne’ was a working title for ‘Alter Mann’ given the aforementioned possibilities of songs played during that time.

@@timaty770 Да-а, и не поспоришь ведь. В новом альбоме виден прогресс всей группы в плане игры (вокал в случае Тилля), но стиль по сравнению с первыми альбомами ушел больше в лирику и уже не звучит так тяжело. Пропала некая изюминка раммов, мне кажется.
