Absolutely love Whiting. They are the best. But, Im always on the look out for a a good Grade 1 or 2 vintage Metz cape due to the finer barbules barbules they have. In my opinion, I think they look a little better on the smaller flies I like to tie, not to mention the superb spade hackles they possess. Whiting capes don’t really have those nice long spade hackles for tailing. Not a knock toward Whiting, it’s just that they are too good!

You mentioned tying parachutes without a post. Can you tie a fly showing how you did it with just the hackle stem?

Hi Kelly and team. Any chance of a long distance video request from NZ? Love to see Johnny's Kill Whitey. Thanks for the great video. Cheers.

For this PMD tie. The table really washed out the fly.

Kelly the problem isn't that you talk too much. The problem is that out of every 1000 sentences you begin, you only complete 3 to 5 of them. Not a problem for me, mind you, I'll keep watching because I learn a lot from you. But if you're looking to placate those viewers who complain about verbiage, try finishing a sentence now and then.
