Nice pattern. Like the combination of body dubbing and how it's brushed into the palmer hackle. This will have some serious movement for a small pattern. Great tutorial!

It's Angus Woodhouse's pattern-maybe he's from Aberdeen, apparently he tied it as a variant of the Solwick fly.

@@flickingfeathers The Aberdeen Angus is a famous breed of cattle, and it is black. The colours on the fly are reminiscent of Highland Cattle so I was wondering if he had got confused between the two.

@@robbrownfield7677 I don't think he did, being Scottish he probably had an idea about the colour of the cow. Most likely a case of a catchy name.
