Nice fly. Kim Burnett is certainly a good teacher to learn from.

What a great little fly! I'm primarily a bass/panfish angler, so this fly is perfect for me! Thanks so much, Tim!!

Thank You for making this video and sharing it. I will definitely be tying up some of these for big Bluegill.

Consider tying some peacock herl in front of the lead eyes. I think this would greatly improve the visual appeal of this fly for Bluegill.

Peacock and bluegills go together like kids and candy. I do a version with peacock ice dub that I think is more durable, but herl is definitely a way to go too. I say go for it.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll be adding this one to my fly box. Any chance you could do a video showing the fly rods and reels you use.

I've been thinking of doing a gear video, but haven't quite figured out how to put it together yet. (Sorry it took so long to reply)

How tying has changed for me, I went from crimping a lead split shot to the hook to using these barbell eyes and tied the fur and feathers any way I could get them to stay

I remember those days and raiding the craft store for materials because there wasn't a fly shop nearby. The flies looked a bit less polished back then, yet the fish still ate them.

Thank you for showing me one more pattern I can use in my pursuit of Bluegills. It looks like a killer. It should have a killer`s name like the "Bundy Bluegill Killer" or the "Dahmer Bluegill Monster". Just a suggestion. Thanks again.

I mean, yeah, the fly kills, but in a much more postive sense. So I think I'll stick to giving it's creator his due as Kim's bluegill bug. Glad you like the pattern though, hope it does well for you and thanks for the comment and for watching!
