Tying the Other

Tying a very effective skinny water fly for finicky bones. I came up with this fly for fish at the bottom of the tide that were refusing bigger flashier patterns on a trip to Hawaii. I called it "the other", because on that trip I only caught on 2 flies; simram in deeper water and the other in skinny stuff.

Hook: Size 8-4 salt water hook of your choice
Thread: Tan/white 6/0
Legs: Silli legs
Rib: clear medium vinyl rib
Body: EP shrimp dub tan/white
Flash:crystal flash slightly darker than the body
Weight: bead chain
