Tying the Pro shrimp saltwater fly

A nice easy but realistic crustacean imitation for any fish that eats shrimp.. and maybe some that don't! Try it for sea trout, weakfish, bass, bream and anything else you feel like.

Hook: your choice of salt water hook to suit the size of shell back you are using. In this I used a size 6 Tiemco 811s for an XXS shrimp body.

Thanks for the response, raining and windy here in Hawaii today (and all week) So I'm Heading out to the fly shop to see if they have the plastic bodies. I have epoxy if they don't I'm really liken this pattern, I just hope the bones do as much.

+Cole Flint it's just a question of getting used to it, the more you watch the better you'll understand. Try watching some movies with Scottish folk in them. Glad you liked the shrimp, hope you knock some up and get some fish on them.

Does this Shrimp ride hook down most of the time?

yeah, it's designed to fish hook down and be fished up in the water column. you can add bead chain or dumbells and flip the dressing if you want to have a hook up pattern. check my pro permit shrimp video to see how.
