Fascinating pattern. I can see it being useful for pike. It, as you say gives the impression of bulk but it would be a lot easier to cast on an 8 weight than some other flies.

Hi George, Normally for sea run browns and bass, but it will for sure work on most predatory fish.

You have the best videos for this art, could you do a salmon fly on? For like the Jock Scott Married feather fly? I’ve looked everywhere for the materials and guides and can’t find them anywhere

Hi TMQ, Thanks. I actually started tying fully dressed salmon flies before i started fly fishing. I will get round to salmon flies but not sure if I will do fully dressed classics as they take time, I could perhaps do one that was split into a few videos, I'll see what I can do...
