I tried something a little different with this one. Fast forwarded some scenes etc ... Let me know what you think in the comments.

Videos are great. Tied a white thunder following you yesterday. Far from perfect but I was pleased for a first attempt.

Great! I still mess up sometimes, it happens. They don't have to be perfect though to catch fish. Nevertheless, we should always be looking to improve. Keep at it!

Another great fly ,great job on tying it . Wondering what is your reason to tie the throat in the way you did by wrapping the hackle ? Most that I have seen just tie in some black hackle /schlappen fibres for throat . Just wondering if you prefer it a certain way or do the fly fish better ? Just curious

I normally tie in schlappen fibers for throat as well. In all honesty, I forget why I did it this one with this fly, could be an old technique or an old habit lol.

As a pure beginner, a video on various materials ie what to use where and techniques like whip finish etc would be really useful.

Hi, I usually add what materials are used in the video description. :)

Nice salmon fry. Just think about what that fry will do and catch for you. Fishy, fishy in the brook, you be the Captain and I'll be the cook. Two on the hook bye. Catch you later.
