I have thick 4c hair. Tried this hairstyle. It looked looked the same for for the most part. The only difference was the thickness of the braid. Detangling, applying a good leave in conditioner, and gel that works for your hair.

I always do this look with twist but based off how awesome your hair looks with braids, I'm definitely going to switch it up. It seems that the braids give a more polished look or it could be the fact that I twist loosely since I just learned how to flat twist.

Thank you!!☺️❤️❤️ You can get the same result without the gel, just make sure to do it on wet hair (if your hair texture/behavior is similar to mine). Otherwise, another alternative is to do it on dry stretched hair to still give a more sleek look (without the gel).
