I really hope this lets us play a 4-3-3 rather than a 4-2-3-1, having Adams and McKennie given the freedom to get further forward is exciting, and will hopefully force us to keep our wingers wider. Gives us the option of them switching to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2 when we need to switch it up or push for a goal.

I'd like to see that, too. We have a problem of leaking goals especially on the counter, and a three man midfield would help enormously with that. But we can't do that this year. We have too much money invested in attacking midfielders and not enough central midfielders to do that. Adams, Roca and McKinney are only enough for a two-man midfield. And Marsch is wedded to the Red Bull 4-2-2-2.

I hope Marsch has enough time in this campaign or next campaign to implement the purely Red Bull 4-2-2-2. He tried it in his first two matches in charge and they didn’t work at all because he just adopted Bielsa’s tired and burnt out side. That formation the way traditional Red Bull coaches implement, is known for its high pressure defending and vertical attack, a formation and ideology that Jesse made his and his alone compared to the rest of the Prem, something so different and off the beaten path that it should be pretty hard for the opposing technical staff to prepare for. He did say back in December that the team has only implemented 30-40% of his tactics so far, so hopefully when we get closer to 100 then we’ll see it.

Massive Kudos to the club for spending the 60 mill Raphinha & 45 mill Phillips SO well in a much needed team rebuild. Willie Gnonto for less than 5 mill is THEEE transfer business of the decade!! Max Wober is a good start for strengthening defence but this needs to be the TOP PRIORITY for the Summer Transfer Window. Leeds & Marcelo left Jesse with no midfield aside from 'usually injured' Kalvin Phillips. The results this season dont do Jesse justice, out of 18 matches ONLY 4 matches were Leeds out played - Man City Brighton Newcastle and a poor Leeds away at Leiciester . Leeds fully deserved to beat Southampton Arsenal Spurs Villa Palace Everton Brentord (home & away) Fulham & Leeds were beaten by the ref against Brentford Everton Spurs Villa & Arsenal.

They knew what they were doing when they brought him there. Culture is a big part of success, I don’t think it’s the fact that theirs 3 American players not counting the coaching staff. But the positive personalities of these players in the dressing room, training grounds, buses and planes. I can see Leeds not fighting for relegation but finishing mid table this season.

Exciting times for Leeds, Jesse has great vision for what he wants to get from his player's and you can see we're not far off, still think we play a bit narrow at times, perfect example was Accrington, a team that had a hard game in the week and we played so narrow down the wings that at times it looked like school yard footy before the bell goes, we should have spread the play, let the ball do the work and have already tired legs chasing shadows but it's coming and we look more solid at the back and goals a plenty in us.

So much quality in midflield & attack for Leeds now! PIcking six from Adams Roca McKennie Rutter Bamford Gnonto Aaronson Rodrigo Harrison Summerville Sinnistera is a nice problem for Jesse to have. Jack Harrison Aaronson Rodrigo Greenwood will find themselves subs more often than not unless they improve & perform consistently. Lets hope Sinni, Willie, Cry & Brendon don't get kicked off the park, Georginio & Weston are big boys who can handle themselves. For me a fit Bamford plays ahead of Rodrigo for what he gives to the team although credit where due, Rodrigo is having his best season.
