I thought the same thing, but just off-the-cuff like that when it sounds dirty and real, and not digitalized in a studio it has a certain charm to it that seems more real and emotionally driven

[Verse 1] There's a full moon shining through her bedroom window Shedding light on them damp and dirty sheets Hear the floor creak, listen to her heart beat Louder than a six-string has ever thought to ring She's a bad sign, Lord, she's a damn sight Better than a long night sleeping all alone When the moon makes way to let the day break Brother, she will leave you strung out on your own [Chorus] Times get hard She keeps rising [Verse 2] She's a hot mess Busting out her sun dress Leave it for tomorrow Throw it on the ground Feel her hips sway Listen to her eyes say She don't need a damn thing Tryin' to weigh her down [Chorus] Heart of stone Hotter than fire [Verse 3] She's a heartbreak Hittin' like a hard rain Washing out the creek bank Takin' what she please Hear her heels click Leaving like a bad trip Leaves you feeling breathless Staggering to your feet

That’s exactly what I said brother I walked right around security in San Antonio after his show because I saw him out back by the buses I was just like I gotta shake this mans hand. And we ended up havin a 20 minute conversation. Night of my life man great man he’s made of something that’s just different.

He's amazing! Down to earth, humble, gracious, and grateful for his fans. I met him in Charlotte, had him autograph my arm, tattooed it. He was...tipsy (lol) but said, "tattoo it? Oh my, I think you're the first and I might just cry" he signed it and said, " oh shit. You met Jake Smith? (The white Buffalo that I also had tattooed) I'm f*****g jealous" it was a night I'll never forget! 💖
