I’m 63 and it happened when I was 9 by a neighbor. He is dead and gone but within the last couple of months I started to ask “Who would I have been and what would my life have looked like if those sexual assaults had not happened?”. To this day, if I don’t feel like I would be comfortable enough to drive in a vehicle with any man within an arms length of me, well for my survival, I will never do that but if I have no choice then someone from my inner circle will be with me. My girls have always asked me if I was okay with their boyfriends and they had warned the guys that what I felt when I was with them may change their relationship. Only one of their friends didn’t make it into our house a second time. I hate hate hate the control that man had over a 9 year old and changed her life trajectory.

Everyone just wanted to make it quietly go away so his sister my friends mom sent him back to their home state. I don't understand why someone would be frightened of a loved one trying to make contact after they died. I once had a coworker who lost her husband suddenly. One day we were talking about the possibility of him trying to make contact and she said she doesn't want it to happen because it would scare her too bad. Huh? I think this reading shows that your deceased loved ones do in fact watch over you and keep you safe to a certain extent. The fact that Cheryl’s grandmothers and other family have been keeping that POS that hurt her as a kid away from her, probably because he’s in hell and can only partially, if at all, come through for that reason. 🤷‍♀️ I miss my grandparents so much and wish they’d come to me in dreams or show me signs that they’re okay, but maybe they have and I didn’t realize it.
