I lost my 16 year old brother 11 years ago. He died of hypothermia and was lost for weeks. He came to me in a dream when he was missing showing me a field, and i was screaming his name over and over, thats where he was found in a field. He also saved my baby boy when he was weeks old, he stopped breathing during the night and my brother woke me by screaming "WAKE UP" in my ear. I know his voice. This amoung other things makes me absolutely believe they go on. And love is eternal.

I lost my brother to suicide when I was 14 and he was 19. He had bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder. It's not something I wish on anyone, no matter how strained your relationship is with your sibling. Tyler really has a gift that transcends just comforting words- he really gets on the level of understanding circumstances around death, and that helps to heal all the guilt, shame, or regret we can feel when someone dies. It's terrible to lose a sibling- it completely breaks the foundation of your family structure. May they all Rest In Peace and hopefully are free of the demons that mental illness can bring.

I remember after my father passed he did so many supernatural things around the house. He was so skinny and sick when he died, but almost a month after his funeral he was in my dream and was back to his old self. He hugged and told that he missed us so much and looked so happy. It was a beautiful “until we meet again” moment. After that nothing supernatural ever happened again. Souls and love is amazing. Sometimes the signs that they give us aren’t this obvious. They use small things and sometimes we don’t pay attention. Don’t lose hope they are around always.

Individual depression is a FAMILY ISSUE, not an independent issue. One's depression comes from SOMEWHERE. The demons most folks talk about are connected to the root... The family dynamic as a whole. You cannot understand individuals 'issues' without finding out the context of how and where that individual came from. It's interesting to hear family members talk about an individual in the family with bipolar, etc as if it is THEIR personal problem, and then the family try to 'talk sense' into that individual as if that individual is separate and not connected tot eh family. This could also be the family's defence mechanism and/or denial that it has anything to do with THEM? The family dynamics during one's childhood, develops fundamental, mental and emotional patterns of survival, self-defence, protection, and safety (for whatever their reasons), that drive the way this individual responds in their independent life away from the nest (the family/the root). His struggle with drugs, destructive behaviour, etc., is just the symptom SHOWING everyone that there is a problem going on, on the inside...connected to the root. If the family don't know this, deny this, and/or pretend THEY have nothing to do with it, they will never be able to help him find a solution, and therefore, HE will find a solution for himself nonetheless. It's about OWNERSHIP, not blame.

@denyablanco27532 жыл бұрын
Depression isn't a family issue, and I think that what you said would really impede the healing or the way they learn to cope with their illness. It's clinical and not circumstantial. Depression is genetic. Whatever the circumstances, depression doesn't allow people to react to life the same way people that don't have depression do. If you have two people, one with clinical depression and one without and have them go through similar life situations, like cheating, loss, failure, rejection, embarrassment, the need for motivation and drive, etc., the one with depression...well that's more difficult to describe, but I'll tell you that they wouldn't completely be able to relate to each other. Suffice it to say, it's difficult for the one with depression to want to go on living and also cannot live life in a healthy way. The brain of someone with depression will not be able to handle adversity like people who have healthy brains, so whatever is happening around them, even if it's just normal human conditions, will be exacerbated and much more complicated.

That’s what I kept thinking, “is no one gonna reach out & hug him at least??” I will say, I’ve watched Kristin’s more recent show, and I don’t think she’s very close with her dad these days (from what she says). But still…I agree.
