I just lost my beautiful sweet cat 5 days ago and the grief is too much for me. My poor other cat is grieving too. They were foster brothers and best buds. They loved each other so much and my deceased cat, Oreo, loved me so much that he followed me everywhere. I was his world. I feel for anyone who loses a pet because it's so unbearable when it is so sudden.😭

I’m so sorry you lost your cat. I lost my best sweet friend Cupcake 6 months ago. And it’s still unbearable . They’re our world, every minute, every day. What kind of cat or what color was she? My Cupcake was a beagle, (13 yo)our cat was a tuxedo(14) Junie. We lost them in 3 months of each other. I’d love to be able to hear from them 😢

The first few weeks are hard because one gets use to feeding them, taking care of them and it feels weird without them. I truly believe they are around you when they pass away. My kids and I heard our cat's distinctive "meow" at the spot he always did his meow and surprised us!! Pay attention to your cat giving you a message. I have heard this is quite common. I lost my beautiful silver kitty exactly a week ago. He was like my own child and he was the most affectionate cat ever, he didn’t bite nor scratch. When he first came to my home months ago he would meow for me to cradle him to sleep like a baby. So his passing was very hard for me and the family. Especially for his bonded brother who continues to search for him. I’m fortunate enough that he visited my dreams before and after his passing and also I saw a sign of him in real life.

You are so lucky to have had him visit you in your dream. My kids and I heard my Oreo's meow 3 days after he died right at the spot where he always gave his only rare meows. He had a distinctive meow and it was loud enough for just me and my kids to hear so loud and clear right at a spot where my other cat was not around, not even inside the home at the time. We were talking about him and we felt it was his way of saying hello. It really hurts to lose our pets.😢

I had a bunny, her name is Darla. Darla was a female lionhead and she lived shortly with me. But before passing, she had her almosts. Her stomach was really weak. She tried fighting through all of the times she would've given up and passed... when she passed away, I knew she didn't want to go. She definitely wanted to stay because when I held her, she let out a pained sound. But as I was trying to reach a doctor, as it was late at night, I felt her nose bump on my cheek, I knew she's gone and she said goodbye.

Awkward Mickey, many animals let out a scream at the moment of death. Two of mine did, as I held them. I've heard that they pass when they are supposed to. I hope that's true, believe me!

I always had a strong feeling something wasn’t right with my brain. I kept wanting to get an mri but since I didn’t have any symptoms like migraines or anything the doctors wouldn’t write an order for an MRI. One day in college I volunteered for a clinical trial which I was getting compensated for and that’s how I knew I DID have a brain tumor
