With Marlee Matlin and how she possibly became deaf ..... if by sickness/illness/infection, that is similar to how Helen Keller became deaf. She wasn't born deaf. She had an infection/illness - it is theorized possibly rubella or scarlet fever - as an infant/baby that caused her to lose her hearing *and* sight.

As a young child I had measles and lost my hearing, though a bit of it came back.

This is so strange hearing this after I just watched Pauly D on episode where he was hospitalized for bleeding and had to get blood transfusion because of digestive tract issues. 😮

Still not totally convinced by this stuff mostly due to a huge controversy in the uk over a well known psychic Sally Morgan having placed people around a venue listening to conversations. Tyler seems genuine and I'd like to believe he is actually getting messages from folks that have passed on but hmmmm!
